We have season passes for multiple visits for both toddlers. Drove 45 minutes, signed in started to play in the play gym only to be kicked out because there was a private party. It didn’t mention they were closed on website or Facebook. Normally if a birthday party is rented out at most places the food area is booked not the entire building. Now we have two upset toddlers that started to play for five minutes and were kicked out. Unacceptable. Expensive pass holders treated like trash.
UPDATE: EVERYTHING THIS OWNER SAID IS A FLAT OUT LIE. Your Facebook page was a pinned post from October stating the facility was closed for a private party. Your manager even said she questioned the owner on it and you said it was fine. Everyone we showed also read it as you were open.
“Because my kids had to wait a mere 2 hours?” You’re lack of communication speaks volumes or you must not have kids of your own. They were very upset. They started playing to be told to leave within 5 minutes.
We left a honest review on their Facebook page. We were quickly blocked instead of an owner reaching out to rectify the situation like a smart, respectful, kind business owner.
They blocked like a child. You can see by their response below how unprofessional this place is. The manager was very shady as many other friends and family that have gone there have also pointed out.
It’s worth it to drive to the Friendship Fortress location in Amherst. It’s different owners but you’re treated with respect and like an adult. Plus it’s a better facility with more to do and cheaper.
Seems like others have the same situation. A simple google search:
“Business owners responding to bad reviews looks very trashy Something generic like "We're sorry you had a bad experience, please let us make it right" is fine, but it looks unprofessional and trashy when the owner responds to argue with the reviewer. It's their word against yours and whenever I see it, I just assume the owner is lying to discredit the reviewer and save face. I've seen this personally on my own negative reviews for genuine bad...
Read moreJust went for the first time today with my almost 4 year old & almost 2 year old - and I'm still blown away at how perfect and nice this place is! Love the Open Play hours- 7 days a week! Buying tickets online/checking in was a breeze. Dealt with Brandy at the front desk who was extremely friendly and helpful. When we visited there was about 10-15 other kids, and about 5-6 other adults and we all had plenty of room. The kids ranged from 6 months old to about 8-9 years old. The amount of different play areas in this place is crazy- bounce house with a ball pit, a little gymnastics area to tumble with a balance beam, tons of individual little play houses like an ice cream shop, grocery store, vet hospital, dress up area, tons of baby dolls with cribs- and all equipped with all the toys you could want (play food, shopping carts, cash registers, etc) Then a whole other room with a log cabin, an indoor playground with 2 good size slides- swings, hanging bars, etc. There's also a spot for smaller babies to play- all blocked off from everything else. Me & babies spent about 2 hours here, but we could have played all day! Whole area was neat/clean- the workers would come out and straighten up every 30 min or so. There's plenty of spots around the play area for the adults to sit/supervise. Nice clean bathroom with an adult toilet & a kid sized toilet right next to it- which I've never seen before but thought was amazing lol. Can't wait to go back & book our birthday parties here! Highly recommend this...
Read moreLove this place! I have a 2 and 4 year old and both of my daughters always have an incredible time. There is a variety of activities and plenty of areas for gross motor not just imaginative play. I have both hosted and attended a birthday party here. Both times, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. At the party I attended, the host added on a little gymnastic session and it was great! The small group of 4 year olds were engaged and hooked with the sweet teacher that knew exactly how to manage them. At the party I hosted, a bounce house was out in addition to all the other wonderful play areas. While the birthday parties are still open to all other patrons, most people stay out of the common "cafe" room when they see that a party is going on.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND for an open play session or a...
