My husband and I went to get a new camper at this point if I can give no stars I would the level of communication is horrible from the start of the sale to the end . Our sales girl was great in the beginning she was not there when we signed our paperwork which is understandable as she had a wedding coming up she was wonderful to work with, however once she got her sale we never heard from her ! It was the end of the month when we purchased our camper and due to our schedules we wanted to go and pick it up which would have been the beginning of the following month when I told her this she said we had to come in at the end of the current month which was a Friday to sign our paperwork so we did I get it they want to make their commissions, however they were in such a rush for us to sign our paperwork ! our camper had a few things wrong with it molding falling off the bedroom door roof issues a huge lump on the outside !we were promised by them at the time of sale our camper came with a wireless router we didn’t see one anywhere and when we asked we were told oh it will be taken care ,the roof had a soft spot in that my husband could out his hand through so we had to wait for all the problems to get fixed we never received any calls on the status of our camper we had to constantly call camping world and when we did speak with someone it was always a different story we were told nobody seemed to know what was going on finally my husband called went to pick up our camper today brought it home and no power cord was in there the refrigerator was all wet inside and the screws were rusted the molding was still not fixed so I called them and they sent me to voicemail this is unacceptable ! My husband texted our sales girl and she never responded back ( why would she when she got her commsion) we will never do business with this company again the managers are not helpful the one we were dealing with names Kelly never knew what was going on with our camper she always had a different excuse and they even lied to us and said it was sent out for repairs come to find out it never was ! I will contact the better business bureau if our issues are not resolved to the fullest and get an attorney if need be ! This is not a place that stands by their word nor cares about the customer after they make the sale ! Stay away from camping world the only one that was decent to deal with was the guy who had us sign our paperwork ! At this level of service We are very disappointed what’s the purpose of buying a new camper if you have to do repairs to it yourself ? I will never recommend camping world to our friends or family who are all avid campers! For the record our sales girl was Lauren and the manager we kept getting sent to was Kelly who kept saying the main manger was busy and couldn’t call us which is why she didn’t know what was going on with our camper ! I hope they have recorded lines so they can see how in knowledgeable their staff is! I would like a manager who is above the store level to contact us ! Very dissapointed in camping world is an understatement we also have to bring our camper back to get additional repairs that weren’t even fixed to...
Read moreI found the travel trailer I bought on-line. It was here at this dealership and I live in the interior of Alaska, over 5,000 miles away! Pretty much the entire deal was done over the phone. I did have to fly down to sign all the paperwork which gave me a chance to actually see and interact with all of the different areas of the dealership. My salesperson was Brent. I connected with him after just a few minutes on the phone and he went to work putting the deal together. He was very attentive to my questions and requests. If I needed anything, he made sure he got it to me. He even worked out everything with the dealership when I made some special requests to be added to the deal. When I arrived in Buffalo, he even came out to pick me up at my hotel. At the dealership, everyone was very friendly and attentive. I was introduced to Dennis up front, Sal in the finance department, Gary in service and Dan over in the store just to name a few. When I was taken into the maintenance shop to be given a tour of my new travel trailer, I saw a very busy shop with technicians working on all sorts of rigs. I got a chance to spend about two hours with Gary who was explaining every detail of my trailer and answering all sorts of questions from me. This guy was just full of information. Clearly, he was VERY familiar with these trailers. After that, I was taken over to Sal in finance. Again, someone who was VERY familiar with what he does. He made sure everything was explained and there were no "hidden" fees or surprises. Very good guy to work with! All throughout this process, I was asking for some special concessions since I wasn't local and Dennis, as the General Manager, was right there listening and doing his best to make them happen. AWESOME! Finally, there's Dan. This guy knows his products! Buying the trailer is one thing, having all of the little things you'll need to ACTUALLY USE the trailer to travel home with it is a COMPLETELY different thing. I ran out of time the day I was there to actually spend any real time in the store. I was introduced to Dan and had a chance to briefly look through the store before it closed for the day. A few days after flying back home I decided I'd better look into what I was going to need to bring this new trailer home in the late spring. I looked on their website for the things I thought I would need and called Dan. He took down my order and I could tell he was planning this trip in his head when he started making recommendations about other things I would need or perhaps a different product that would serve me better.
I know this review was long but I wanted all of you to experience what I had experienced. I hope it did. This is an AWESOME dealership and I wish I could give it more than 5...
Read moreWe recently purchased a (leftover) new 2019 Cyclone camper. We were happy with the camper itself, our salesman, and all of the employees until the end of the process after we signed the paperwork to purchase the camper, we were told our hitch was not heavy enough for the camper and underrated by just over 1,000 lbs. We figured, no problem, we will buy one from here, assuming they sold them.... Nope, they don’t have any in stock at the store, so arrangements were made to get the few items fixed that we noticed and to have the interior and exterior protection package that we purchased on the camper and they would deliver it the following week, no problem, we left happy. However, the camper was delivered to us and we discovered that nothing at all was done, as the inside and outside still has sand all through it. We called and asked if the interior and exterior protection packages were completed and we were guaranteed that that they were. How can they do this if there are still streaks on the camper’s exterior and sand in the windows, and sand on the seats and all through the interior??? Several phone calls later and they told us that they discovered that the protection packages that we paid thousands of dollars to have done (prior to delivery), were in fact not done at all... So basically they took our money and didn’t do any of the extra services we paid for, and they weren’t going to say anything at all if we didn’t question it. We were told that they would contact our local dealer and to take it there, they would have them do the work, but no one ever called the local dealer, they had no idea who we were when we called to schedule the services. They can not get us in until November at our local dealer for things that should have been done pre-delivery. (The refrigerator has dents and also does not work along with other small items that we were told they would have completed pre-delivery) We have been in contact with the our salesman, and now with the manager, Jon, who has not been helpful and there has been 0 follow through on the dealers end. We have no problem waiting to get some repairs done but we were lied to about the protection package and feel that we were deceived and lied to about it in an attempt for a quick sale and quick money. We will be contacting the New York State’s dealers association, and the Attorney General’s Office in reference to this since we paid for services that were not completed which constitutes theft. Once again, we like the camper but were ripped off/deceived by the practices at...
