This is the coolest little place. It was on my to do list forever. Recently took a trip upstate and got to see it. They have the history of the drs lab, medical equipment, a whole setup like day in the life of a patient, they have a whole downstairs and gift shop. The guy at the front was enthusiastic and excited and had some really intresting information. He gave us some of the history and then let us explore. Read moreThe staff Emily and Chessie were wonderful at explaining how the lab was persevered and had pictures of when my dad was actually one of the patients. I highly recommend your the laboratory and then take a walking tour of the Trudeau sanatorium a few miles down the road.
You park your car and a your guide will take you down the road to see the buildings and explain what each building was used for.

The curator there (Alex I think was his name) was very enthusiastic which we love in an employee and was happy to answer our questions.
