Doris The Florist — Local services in Town of Hempstead

Working with Doris was truly such a pleasure. When I first met her, I had a completely different look on my flowers. Different colors, different theme, different everything. I met with her and realized my choice wasn’t really “me” and what I was going for. I honestly thought she’d be upset (I felt bad that her team took the time to make such a gorgeous mock-up) but at the end of the day, it didn’t feel right.

After a few days, I showed her pictures of what I wanted…the most beautiful toffee color roses ever. I knew this was it (it was like finding that perfect wedding dress!) Doris was very honest with me from the start. She really wanted to make this happen for me but told me from the start that this specific rose color was VERY hard to find due to farm shortages during a global pandemic. She stayed in constant communication with me as the wedding came close and she made it happen.

I can’t thank her enough. Doris and her team truly made my vision come to life. All my guests were so amazed on how beautiful the flowers came out. My guests are still commenting on them and I honestly am speechless on how stunning they turned out. Thank you 1000x to Doris and her team! ...

Words truly can’t describe how blessed we were to have Doris as our florist. From our first appointment to the day we said I do, Doris made every moment so unbelievably special for us. Our first appointment we went over all over our inspiration pictures, Doris was able to help with her professional input to create the best vision possible. Our second appointment, was for us to go in and see a mock up of what our centerpieces and bouquets would look like. Not many florists give you the opportunity to physically see what you will be getting. That day was so special to us, that’s when it hit us! We were really getting married. Doris beyond exceeded our expectations, the florals at the wedding were so beautiful. I would like to use the word “grand” but that’s an understatement. They were magical, truly gorgeous. Doris is such a loving person inside and out, she truly cares about her bride and grooms. And will do everything possible to make your vision come true. Don’t walk, RUN! I can't contain myself I have to say more wonderful things about Doris The Florist! Once again I entrusted them with my bouquet order for my wife on our 40th anniversary. I left the arrangement to them my only ask was for some purple (my wife's favorite color) Well when she received the delivery we were both blown away by the beautiful display with purple accents that Doris and the team had assembled! They truly put their time, talent and love into every item that leaves the shop! If you need flowers you can go anywhere but if you truly want to give someone something beautiful to remember then there is only one place DORIS THE FLORIST
