Island Park Food Center — Local services in Town of Hempstead

We've been coming here for so many years. Like their food to go and enjoy yummy meals they made. But just recently, due to high pricing, we just need to use other places. Their not the only one food to go place in the neighborhood. The guy Jose by the cashier keeps raising prices. He charged a small rice with chicken for $7, then a week after it became $8, then a week after it became $10. We wouldn't really want to complain, but it's unacceptable how they became so inconsistent with the price. Yes its only a dollar or a few dollars, but it's crazy how they get...

Love this place. Good prices, friendly fast service. We often get egg sandwiches here. Just tried their fried chicken wings and fried shrimp. Both are great. Lots of interesting things on their steam table. They also have a small grocery store attached, so it's easy to get milk. Etc while...

Excellent location across from the LIRR station… Good place to stop in for authentic Spanish food.
