This was one of the most horrible stores I have ever had to visit. My elderly mother tried to have simple job done here and the owners gave a date of a week later to complete it. They did not. And kept acting like they would until 2 weeks had passed and the angry owner with the napoleon complex said they had no intention of doing it any time soon, that is was a small order and not important. My mother then demanded a refund and we were forced to visit this shack. While we waited on a horrible unairconditioned line, he kept conning customers with simple problems into buying things that were way more expensive and complex than what they wanted and could be done for much cheaper some where else. Once we reached the front of the line and no one was behind us. He spoke very threateningly to my elderly mother on the phone so I was forced to take off and accompany her because of his raw and obvious hatred and disdain for women. He began to get nervous and try to rush us out when I made it clear I was not there to buy anything and was only there to back up an elderly woman against a frothing bully who was also quoting some troubling political ideologies the whole time. I half expected him to start yelling "takers!" at us as we left.

Going into this place is like going into a garbage hoarder's garage. People's property is all over the floor, thrown around haphazardly while the owner belittles customers despite his napoleon-like appearance. He was an extremely angry man that kept trying to scam his way out of giving us our refund and making excuses for the fact he cannot do a job properly or take fault like a real man....

Last year I had a need to repair/replace 2 seasonal panels from a screen door. I happened upon Franklin Square Screen and Door. Barry took care of my needs and the panels were made quickly and properly.

Fast forward to today I found that one of the panels had been vandalized and was badly bent. I returned to Barry and showed him the damage. After a day I was able to pick up the repaired panel and it looked like it did last year when I purchased it and there was NO CHARGE.

Now I know why this shop has been in business for over 90 years. Absolutely amazing Customer Service. Kudos to Barry!
