On May 16, 2024, my life changed in an instant. I was involved in a three-car accident on the Meadowbrook Parkway in Nassau County, Long Island. A distracted young driver rear-ended the car behind mine, causing a chain reaction—and I was caught in the middle of it. That moment left me with severe injuries to my lower back, neck, and shoulders, and I found myself struggling to do even the most basic tasks of daily life.

My doctor referred me to IVY Rehab Baldwin, and thankfully, it was nearby—practically in my own backyard. That’s where my journey toward recovery began, and more importantly, where I met Jonathan Gallub.

From the very first evaluation, Jonathan—now fondly known to me as “John”—was an absolute gift. Polite, patient, friendly, and deeply professional, he immediately put me at ease. I walked in overwhelmed and in pain; he met me with calm assurance and a personalized approach that made all the difference.

When I began therapy, I could hardly move without discomfort. But session by session, John carefully assessed my condition and adapted my treatment to meet me where I was. Through his guidance, I’ve regained not only mobility and strength, but also a sense of control and hope. His thoughtful progression of exercises and encouragement steadily rebuilt my confidence along with my body.

No, I’m not back to where I was before the accident—yet. But I can say with certainty that I’ve come a long way, and I’m still on the right path thanks to this exceptional care. Each session is tailored to my specific needs and goals, and never once have I felt like “just another patient.” Here, I’m treated as an individual—a person in recovery—with the unwavering support of someone who is truly gifted in his profession.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! This company is malicious.I went to physical therapy 8 sessions in the month of October at Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy in Baldwin, NY. Before, beginning services, I called and talked with their patient coordinator and explained that I have 2 insurances a primary and a secondary. They recommended using both because they were in net work and the secondary will pick up the copay otherwise they will just bill the primary. After, I finished the 8 sessions they sent me a bill of $849.98. I called the primary insurance and they confirmed payment was submitted and I am only supposed to pay $25 copay. Ivy Rehab insist that they did not get paid and they sent the claim to secondary insurance. After, many attempts to try to resolve I called the secondary. Secondary insurance said they spoke with primary and got the confirmation Ivy rehab received the payment and should not be billing the secondary only primary and that I am only responsible for $25 copay. Ivy Rehab received the payment from my primary insurance but continues to send the threatening letters with the $849.98. I had to stop physical therapy and now pain has increased and my mental health and emotional health is deteriorating because of IVY REHAB INC. They are acting in a malicious way trying to get extra payment from me even though they RECEIVED PAYMENT FROM MY PRIMARY INSURANCE! I tried to call many times to try to resolve the matter and they keep lying and do not resolve the issue. They said they will look into the matter but no phone call back and no resolution! If you love office staff telling you one thing and then getting a bill in the mail opposite of what you were told, this is the place for you!!!!!! Likely not going back to here as I was told from the front desk incorrect information about my insurance coverage and I have now been going back and forth with a billing department that continuously makes me repeat my story over and over again to then have it “escalated” for review. After the fifth or sixth time of speaking with a different representative and never being able to speak to anyone above them, I was told that my bill decreased but a new bill was never sent out. So essentially, if I wasn’t told then and I paid the bill, they would’ve been overpaid and never said anything. I received a new bill in the mail shortly after. How convenient.
