Panda House — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Just as a heads up the cook is new and he does not make anything in the traditional manner. I ordered something tonight and was utterly baffled as to what they placed in my bag and tried to convince me this is how it is made. When I advised the mouthy young guy behind the counter how it is prepared he replied "Oh you like the traditional Chinese way" UUMMM DUH it is a Chinese restaurant I am ordering from then he tries to explain 3 different ways the same thing is prepared. I had to explain to him I have been ordering this before he was born then he finally says that they do not have the supplies to cook it the proper way as I have always had for many years there. It is certainly time for them to close down based on the other reviews I am seeing about this hole...

Dirty restaurant if was in NYC the DOH would've gave them a C rate. food is terrible not only that but even the item that nothing can go wrong with they screw it up. paid $20.50 and 1$ tip for a meal that we wind up putting it in garbage. 8 Shrimp Egg rolls and 1shrimp fried rice. We do not eat pork. we end up having 5 pork egg rolls and tasteless rice. We had to eat fried eggs that was delicious comparing to this manure. will never go back there and will not recommend that...

The food here is excellent. The sushi is very good. The fried gyoza is awesome as is the mei fun. Service was overall pretty good. This is a small but pleasant place on a busy road. (There is only street parking and there are 3 other restaurants on the same block.) The bathroom (singular) is very clean.
