If I could give them no stars I would!Terrible customer service! Very nasty women who answered the phone who wanted to argue with me was the worst! My husband went to pay for the food and did not realize that they never gave him back his credit card. I called and asked if they had it and she said yes. I said that he would be on his way but that it was 9:10 and asked what time would they be closing. She said 9:30. I said that we live in Westbury and that he might not make it and arrive a little after. She said he could come tomorrow and that they were closing at 9:30 because of the snow storm. That would not begin until 1:00 am! So when I said to her again to wait for him to get there to return his card to him she got aggressive and argumentative raising her voice stating that it was my husband’s fault that he did not pick up the credit card from the counter. What the hell kind of customer service is that?! Dropped almost $70.00 for this? I told her that he needed his card to get gas. She did not care. So I am blasting your terrible customer service for everyone to see. I don’t pay to eat at a place that doesn’t treat their clientele with curtesy and respect. I can get Thai food anywhere! But I won’t be...

I was so disappointed by the meal and service. I dined in and ordered Tom Kha Gai and drunken noodles. The soup broth tasted unbalanced and was loaded with large slices of mushroom and chewy chicken making it hard to get the spoon in the bowl. When the waiter came with the noodles he didn’t even ask if the soup was since the bowl was 90% full and I had pushed it away from me. The drunken noodles had zero spice to them, the sauce was sweet almost like it was the pad see ew sauce and the majority of the noodles were stuck and rolled up. The waiter never returned to see how the food was. I picked at the noodles that weren't clumped together and ended up walking to the bar to get my check since the waiter wasn't around. A woman (not my waiter) asked if I wanted to take the food to go and when I said no she didn't ask if the food was ok not. Just seems odd that they don't ask why a customer is leaving 90% of a meal on the table. As for the atmosphere, the place is clean but the booth was tight for my legs and...

My girlfriend and I went out to dinner last night at Basil Leaf Grill, and the experience was exceptional. The owners have constructed a beautiful outdoor seating area on Atlantic Ave., which was the perfect environment on a cool summer night.

We started off with a bowl of the Tom Kha Gai soup, the Som Tum Esan (papaya salad), and the Kao Neow Gai (sticky rice steamed in banana leaves). The soup was the best version we’ve had around here, packed full of flavor and loaded with chicken breast. The papaya salad- more like a slaw- was cool and refreshing, yet nutty with that stereotypical afterburn of Thai spices.

My girlfriend had the Pad See Ew with Mango Chicken (the chef accommodated this special request), and I had the Garlic Shrimp. Both dishes were loaded with lots of flavor.

From start to finish everything was a win, and we will definitely be back soon. It’s nice to know that Baldwin finally has a reliable...

I've watched this place be built for the past few months and was anticipating finally getting to try it. Let me just say that Basil Leaf Grill made a fantastic first impression! We got the Samosas and the Gang Masamun Chicken. Both were so flavorful and delicious (my brother even said the masamun curry was as good as what he ate in actual Thailand). WE ARE IMPRESSED! Also really wonderful to be able to have a local place for Thai Ice Tea, my favorite. They have a great lunch special, gave large potions and were very nice when we went to pick the food up. Whether you order take out or enjoy dining on the cute patio, either way you won't be disappointed! THE FOOD IS GREAT! Congrats to you, Basil Leaf Grill on your opening! We'll definitely be back.

Our recent visit to Basil Leaf Grill at Baldwin, Long Island was splendid. My daughter and I had a great lunch date. The staff was friendly and attentive and came back several times to ask us if all is well. Being that we were on our lunch hour, the appetizers were promptly served and were delicious. The main dishes were delectable as well. If in the Baldwin Harbor area, Basil Leaf Grill is a wonderful Thai restaurant to visit. There are several parking spots in the rear of the establishment, but otherwise, it'll be street parking.

I saw the rating 4.7 that’s why I went there to try the mango salad. I didn’t order the main course because, I have been Thai restaurant a lot but never saw they serve mango that big slices and lettuce. They put less dressing all I feel is having big slices of mango and lettuce. I used to eat the mango salads from most of the Thai restaurants. Fine chopped salads with nice dressing. I'm really disappointed 😔
