Wow. I took in my mother in laws Shabbat candle holder that my wife has had for years but never used because we thought it was in desperate need of a polish and had completely changed colors from sitting unused for many years. I brought it in to be polished after all these years and it was explained to me that this isn’t colored from sitting there, it’s actually the original color that had been fading. Turns out it wasn’t silver that needed to be polished, it was pained bronze originally and he explained how beautiful it was and begged me to start using it and don’t mess with it at all. After bringing it in, and having it all explained, we’re really exited to start using it. Just in time for Rosh Hashanah....
