Numa's Florist — Local services in Town of Hempstead

I recently attended a Daddy/Daughter dance at school fir my 8 year old daughter. Forgetting to purchase a wristlet for her I tried a few local florists. With each that I went into employed were standing around appearing to be doing nothing yet they all said they couldn't help me.

I stopped in Numa's Florist and noticed that they all appeared busy helping customers or preparing for an event. I asked anyway if they could help me with a last minute wristlet. Not only did they stop what they were doing, but offered suggestions, and smiled the whole time. The wristlet came out beautiful with white roses and silver ribbon to match my daughter's dress perfectly.

Not only that, they were $15 cheaper, 100% kinder and 100% more helpful than the local Feldis Florist.

My expierence was great with Numa's Florist. I will never go anywhere else again.

Beautiful bouquet, but absolutely horrible customer service! I called Numa’s this past Sunday morning as soon as they opened, as I wanted to ensure a flower delivery that day for my aunt who had just had surgery. I spoke with the owner and he assured me that not only would he create a beautiful bouquet for my aunt, but that same day delivery would not be a problem! Well, I wait around all day wondering if my aunt ever got the flowers… turns out they were delivered the next day. No one called to inform me that they would be delivered late!!! I call to find out what happened, and instead of apologizing, and maybe crediting me the 15 dollar delivery fee, the owner begins screaming at me, calling me an idiot, and telling me to go some where else next time. (I assure you I will, sir) The bouquet was great, but it was delivered a day late, I was never notified, and when I called to ask why, I was the one who got yelled...

Having received a recommendation from the funeral home, we ordered a floral arrangement for a wake service through Numa's. The funeral home assured us that based on their experiences, the flowers would be delivered in time and we would be very happy with the piece Numa's created.

Well, let me tell you, they were so right! Our piece came out fantastic and we could not be happier with the service provided. Miguel worked with us over the phone to create such a beautiful arrangement -- even substituting flowers from the depicted arrangement to make it better than pictured!

I don't often take time to make comments online, but feel strongly that the exceptional service we received deserves to be recognized. It was deeply appreciated and I would not hesitate to recommend Numa's to a friend or use them...
