9/21/16 just a few minutes after my original post below: UPDATE - And as if it couldn't get worse, Perry saw this review and two minutes later decided to call me and say the following "it's a shame you accused me of cutting your dog, it's a shame you wrote that nasty yelp review, it's a shame you burned this bridge....good luck with your nasty dog" and hung up. Is this "man" for real??? I just made an appointment with the vet and if it turns out to be a different issue, then I will take down my review. But I have a feeling the vet will confirm my suspicion. All I can do is laugh at your ridiculousness because if I don't laugh then I'll cry. Not only did you hurt my dog by accident but now you're hurting me on purpose. Lucky for me, I believe in karma. :)
9/21/16 - Never thought I'd say this but Perry is the most UNPROFESSIONAL pet groomer in the business. He has ZERO compassion and will not take accountability for his mistakes. I've been bringing my dog to him for about a year and I'm always happy with his work. The last time I brought him in, however, changed everything. He cut my dog in two places on his chest. I called the salon to speak with him about it (calmly) and you could hear him in the background yelling and screaming that he didn't do it. He finally got on the phone, told me to take my dog to the vet and prove that they were cuts from the groomer and then HUNG UP the phone before I could say a word.
By the way, I wasn't even accusing him of cutting my dog. I was simply asking them what happened because I was surprised they didn't bring it to my attention.
Never in my life have I experienced such terrible customer service. He did a terrible job and HURT my dog, refuses to take responsibility for his actions and yells at his PAYING customers? All I can do is hope that it doesn't happen again....but something tells me it's not the last time. You've...
Read moreI have been taking my two pups to Perry’s for 4+ years; never put mind to Perry’s rudeness as I only cared about my pups being well groomed and handled properly. I had to stop going for a few months (since April) due to changes in our routine. Yesterday I called to make an appointment for my pups since we really liked the way Perry groomed. I was informed we no longer were considered old clients and no appointments would be provided. We were also told we should continue going to the same place we had been going to since last going to Perry. Sadly being customers for over 4 years meant nothing to Perry. I really didn’t think I had to explain or defend my reasons for not going since April. On the other hand, as a shop owner wanting to build my clientele, I would have been flattered to have customers want to return. Assuming we had been visiting another shop is clearly unprofessional and rude. We always knew Perry lacked customer service skills and respect for his customers but despite this we never held that against him - simply ignored it and took nothing personal. Dog owners beware - the reviews from others are true. Perry, it’s extremely disappointing to have been with your shop for years and be treated this way. You should seriously consider improving your customer service skills and appreciate your customers more. There’s plenty of companies that offer workshops on customer service. Read moreWhile waiting at the front desk to pick up my dog I witnessed one of Perry's groomers handling a dog that was getting groomed in a manner that seemed awkward to me. Of course I don't know what it takes to groom a dog and it must call for some patience but I then noticed the groomer grab the dog extremely forcefully by the neck. Trust me that what I witnessed was not cool! To make matters worse I ask to speak to Perry privately in the waiting area so I can advise him of what I saw. Perry comes out didn't even give me a chance to explain properly of what I saw. He immediately started yelling at me saying, 'How dare you tell me about my employees, all my employees are hard working good workers!" I was completely stunned by the way he turned this on me. While I was trying to make my point he got louder and started screaming, take your dog and get out of my store, don’t ever come back. He picks up the phone and threatens to call the police by saying that I was harassing him. Unbelievable!! Why would I make this up!! I simply wanted to make Perry aware of what I saw then you take it out on me Bad way to run your business sir! You have no patience and poor customer service!!
