Took my daughters here yesterday for my 5 year olds birthday, the experience was good during the first part of our appointment it was extremely pleasant. Before I tell you how the other half of the appointment went I want to give props to the two young ladies that took care of my daughters they were AMAZING. They made my babies very comfy and happy. Those two young ladies need raises. Now moving on to the other part of our appointment, while I was buying my daughters a gift at the gift shop a black women and her daughter was standing outside trying to come in for an appointment . One of the young ladies that were taking care of my daughter said “ no she have to wait for there appointment to end” I said to the young lady it okay she can come in and wait with her child I don’t mind, our appointment about to end anyway. The lady came in seen the wait time and left, after that a white women and four girls came for an appointment that they had and the other worker asked “can they come in ?” I said I don’t mind and the lady and girls came in and sat down. After that I was getting the last pictures of my babies and my 2 year old daughter accidentally fell off of the swing & I was busy handling calming her down and cleaning her bleeding lip. The boss then appears in the shop and was asking if my baby was okay and telling us that children fall off of the swing all the time, I was thinking she comforting us and making sure our experience was good. While getting my babies ready at the back of the shop the boss pulled the curtain and Im thinking she giving us a lil privacy to put my baby panty hose and shoes on . The boss told us we can go behind the curtain, well that what I thought she said. While the white women and the 4 girls appointment is starting what the boss really said was that we have to exit from the back so we don’t interrupt that white lady and her girls appointment. Now I was too busy focusing on my two year old to hear what she said so my sister heard what she said and was offended that us being the black people we had to leave from the back. Mind you the owner is a BLACK WOMEN. It very much gave “back of the bus type of situation” and trying to make sure that the white women is taking care of when the white women came in on my appointment and didn’t say thank you for me allowing her to wait inside. I did that out of my kindness. That owner should’ve let us leave from the front door like how we entered. We were not disturbing nobody. My baby got hurt in her shop and we getting the kids together. After leaving the shop from back I then realized and put together what owner was doing. Very disappointed I will not be coming back there. I spent 300 and change at this shop . I should have been able to leave from the front door like how I entered. IF YOU ARE BLACK I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND .SHE WAS VERY MUCH WHITE CATERING AND NOT CATERING TO HER PEOPLE.IF YOU ARE BLACK GO SPEND YOUR BLACK DOLLARS...

We held our daughters 7th birthday here a few days ago and we didn’t have a great experience. We’ve been here in the past for other parties and they went well which is why we decided to hold our daughters party here. The owner was nice and allowed us to set up the night before however we paid for a 15 ppl party and the night before when setting up the table had only 12 chairs: the staff informed us the owner would bring the other 3 the next day. The day of the party they did bring 3 chairs but they were foldable (backyard party) type chairs. The table was a 12 seater table definitely didn’t fit 15 people comfortably (which is what we were charged for). When I asked the owner she said she’s never had an issue with the other chairs so we decided to let it go as we weren’t given much choice. The event was going smooth our timing was from 12-4 however around 2pm after the cake cutting the staff started cleaning the back up and taking down our decor as well as moving our goody bags and things to the front. I asked them why they were doing so and they stated after eating they clean the back room. I asked them nicely to keep the stuff in the back as we paid for the spade until 4pm and one worker was extremely rude and said what’s the difference of keeping it in the front instead of back. They also had boxes there for another party they were setting up for DURING OUR EVENT. This led to the kids seeing goody bags and asking for them which was to be handed out in the end and people assuming the party was coming to an end. It was also extremely EMBARRASSING having workers run back and forth cleaning During our party. I had to speak to the owner on the phone twice during my daughters event to get things sorted out. Because of this one of the workers became very rude to the guests to which even our guests at the party complained about the customer service. My daughter didn’t get any extra special treatment as she should have as the birthday girl. They gave her. A crown and sash but their customer service was definitely not good. Working with little girls there should be more enthusiasm and excitement which was lacked.

I would definitely not be returning here...

Employees- a little unprofessional/ immature, not enthusiastic, minimally friendly. It was pretty obvious they were annoyed with my daughter and her friend but what do you expect when dealing with a 5 y/o ? The girls were so excited and the techs had to redirect them to stay still. Maybe hire staff that actually enjoy working with kids and don't get easily annoyed. My daughter and her friend also wanted more juice. One employee said " only one cup per customer " and a second employee said " we don't have anymore". The owner overheard and instructed the employee to provide additional juice. The " one cup" they were provided was only about 3-4oz so naturally , the kids wanted a little more.

Service- 2/10. The techs did nothing but soak, apply lotion and paint with polish. They didn't cut nor shape the nails. My friends daughters nails were notably dirty and all the tech did was paint over it . Not worth the $ at all. $95.90 plus 20$ in tip for 2 rushed mani/pedis... Def overpriced for less than mediocre service. Polish selection was also horrible and limited. Kids should be allowed to keep the flip flops. Giving them back was diabolical.

Experience- overall my daughter and her friend loved it. They hade a great experience and didn't notice the negatives. Unfortunately I will never return nor recommend because frankly the techs were 👎

The owner was very pleasant, welcoming, and professional. She needs more staff...
