My husband and I just arrived to NY and saw amazing reviews for this restaurant at 10pm a hour before closing on a Friday night. We called several times but the line kept going to voicemail. Yet online delivery was way too expensive 30$ for them to deliver a couple of blocks. My husband and I weren't familiar with the area so we decided to go check it out in person to see if we could order and carry out. When we arrived there were a few tables occupied and they were quick to serve us. We informed them of their line which they couldn't figure out what happen but their internet too was down. The customer service was great and knew there were 4 of us and gave us 4 salads vs 1 since we ordered an entree. We ordered 6 sushi rolls, 2 orders of their sashimi salad, chicken/shrimp/scallop skews with fried rice, two orders of their Japanese fried chicken wings. The sushi was mediocre, the skews were overcooked and dry, the sauce and fried rice was good, salad was decent but what was actually best was the wings. The sushi was a bit soft, lots of rice and other ingredients (cucumber/avocado/etc were thick besides the actual fish itself. The salad was decent. The skew was not worth the money although the veggies sauce and rice was and the wings! Would I return? I don't think so only because there are more restaurants in such a...

This was my first time trying this restaurant as I was craving Japanese food. The restaurant had good reviews online so I was hopeful for my meal. I ordered the food online and was given a pick up time of 30 minutes. I arrived to pick up the food after 40 minutes expecting my order to be ready. It was not. I was told it would be ready in five minutes. I then proceeded to wait for another 20 minutes. Why did my order take an hour to make? After my food was finally given to me I received no acknowledgement of how long I waited for my order. When me and my family finally tried the food still anticipating good food in spite of my ordering experience, we were all very disappointed. The food was very bland. No flavor at all. The chicken was dry and over cooked. The hibachi rice was just as bland. As a first time patron, I definitely became a last...

This restaurant is really a nice inviting place. The staff is extremely friendly and if you've gone there they definatly remember you. Down to the type of cocktail and food you like. The sushi is fresh made to order and the $5 happy hour Lychee martinis...knock your pants off good. If you get there before 3 o'clock you can get one of the lunch specials. There choices range from Benito boxes, specials on rolls, rock shrimp is always a great starter, the bbq squid is tasty and very dramatic when it comes out sizzling. Last picture was a Crispy wonton tuna & Tango...

Been going here for years and it continues to be a bit of a diamond in the not-so-rough burbs of Western Nassau / Eastern Queens. I live in the next town over, Rosedale, and get there in 8 minutes. Love sitting in front of the sushi chefs to watch them create their master pieces. They're always congenial and the service is great. I'm always greeted right away with a smile, and everyone is there to serve their patrons. I get the sense that the servers are not territorial. Everyone is willing to take care of you. #LetsGuide #LocalGuide #Sushi #RecoveringKnowItAll

Went for the first time today and found the food to be quite delicious. The staff were quite attentive and friendly. It was very hard to find the restaurant. We drove by it and had to go back to look for it. The front is non description and even the front door gives no clue that it was a Japanese restaurant.
