Ralph's Tackle & Sporting Goods INC — Local services in Town of Hempstead

Back in the 1970s, I was a kid. I grew up in Aheepshead Bay and a typical summer's day was to walk to the bay and stop at one of the 3 bait stores in the area and fish for snappers at the pier.

Today...2024...Ralph's is a store tgat reminds me of that. Ralph's is an old-school bait shop that has everything you need for local fishing via boat, pier and surf.

They are fine to answer your questions and they know what they are doing.

Their ba I t is very good and t hey often have fresh peanut bunker!

My ONLY issue is that sometimes it's hard to park in front of the facility.

I went there on 08/05/2024 and get 1 box lugworms, he choir and told me it’s good, I believe him and didn’t checked. I took it and kept it in ice bucket . Drove 1 hours for my fishing spot.
