As an artist with experience in audio recording and production, I primarily handle my own recordings. I wanted to introduce a fresh, professional perspective to my music. I also wanted more liberty to focus on being an artist and embrace the collaborative aspect of music creation. Micangelo's extensive years of expertise was the gravitational force that brought me to The Mix Palace. I place tremendous value in creatives who are passionately masterful about their craft. When Micangelo arrived, we got straight down to business. The space was beautiful and it was very evident that years of hard work, passion and careful curation had been poured into constructing the studio. As I already work in ProTools, getting up and running was seamless and took only a few minutes. Micangelo collaborated with his talented engineer, Flex, to mix my record to my satisfaction. Where do I begin... I have searched for a recording/mix&master studio on Long Island for a little over a year now and I am happy to finally say I found an amazing, refreshingly inspiring studio at The Mix Palace!

I am a performing artist (singer, songwriter and musician) and have recorded and produced my own music in my home studio. My music was well received at shows and sounded good with my lively arrangements though I knew it was time to take it up a notch. MicAngelo and Andrea helped me achieve a #nextlevel sound quality by bringing out my lows and highs and adding effects that added more dynamics and color to my song. They equalized my music well and aimed to achieve precision and a clean sound.
