One night after work I remembered my cat was out of food and I had forgotten to get him more that morning before I went to work, so I put pet supplies plus into my GPS and it said I would be getting there exactly at 9:00 p.m. I called and explained my dire situation to the young employee on the phone who then involved her supervisor. the manager, Melissa, then informed me that their doors and cash registers close on their own "exactly at 9pm" as if I'm not a grown woman who's shopped and worked at retail stores since before Melissa was born š I asked, what if I walked in the door at 8:59 and take 5 minutes to shop? she said, "that would be different because you would have already been in the store before 9." it's a good thing I broke speeding laws on the Southern State parkway and managed to make it there at 8:59 before Melissa closed -- I mean, before the doors and registers closed by themselves at 9:00 p.m. so that my poor cat could eat that next morning. I do understand that poor planning on my part does not constitute an emergency on theirs, and it's also true that if they would have tried in any way to help me out, this review would be absolutely glowing instead of negative. I am lucky that tons of competitors like Chewy and Petco exist, and I never have to give this company any of my money ever again. thanks,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been a regular customer at this pet shop, frequently using the self-wash dog station and always had a positive experienceāuntil today. I was told we couldn't use the station for more than 30 minutes, which was surprising since we've often gone over that time without any issues, especially when no one else was waiting. It's not just usāother customers have also used the station for longer than 30 minutes without any problem in the past.
I want to be clear that we completely understand and respect store policies, but the inconsistency in enforcing them is frustrating. My dog tends to get diarrhea after baths, and I suspect it's because the air dryer blows extremely cold air, which is far from ideal during the winter. To help with this, we brought our own dryer, but we were told we couldn't use it either. While I understand if that's the rule, the staff member today was unnecessarily rude about it. A polite explanation would have been enough, but the way we were spoken to was uncalled for.
All the other staff members we've encountered have always been kind, understanding, and clearly care about animals. Unfortunately, the girl we dealt with today was very judgmental and mean toward us, which made the experience even worse.

She was very knowledgeable and very helpful when it came to addressing my all my concerns. Melissa went a step further to take her time out to address all my concerns and I appreciate that as Melissa was helping me with the chosen products. Alexa decides to walk over and interrupt Melissaās conversation with me as if though I was taking too long which I literally only took five minutes due to Melissaās great customer service and her knowledge on the stores products. I give Alexa not even a one for customer service if I could give her -0 thatās what I would give her for customer service for Melissa I would definitely give her a thumbs up and 10 stars all day there was another thing that I didnāt like that Alexa did and I walked away she was whispering to Melissa about something I come to this pet supply store all the time but I will no longer come here if Iām going to get bad customer service...
