I recently discovered a charming Lebanese restaurant nearby that I hadn't heard of before. Its hidden location adds to its allure, and once inside, I was welcomed by bright, cute decor featuring flowers hanging from the ceiling.

During my visit, the place was quiet, with only one other customer, but that allowed me to fully enjoy the atmosphere. We ordered a fattoush salad, a roasted eggplant salad, and lamb kofta. The salads were outstanding; the fattoush had just the right amount of sumac, and the homemade pita chips were a delightful touch. The eggplant salad boasted a wonderful smoky flavor, clearly indicating that care was taken in its preparation.

For the main course, the rice was flavorful yet tender. The lamb kofta was juicy and aromatic, although a quarter of it was undercooked. However, the fresh herbs mixed into the meat really shone through. I asked for sauce recommendations, and the lovely older gentleman behind the counter provided a garlic sauce and a spicy green sauce. Both were delicious, but the spicy sauce particularly impressed me—it was incredibly flavorful and had a kick that lingered.

Overall, this hidden gem is definitely worth a visit, and I look forward to returning to explore more of their menu. Highly...

If you ever wondered what Lebanese food is, I'll describe it for you. . . Delicious. That's what it is.

We started with Warak Inab (stuffed grape leaves), and the baba ghannouj. The grape leaves were distinctively different from the Greek ones I'm used to, more citrus and better flavor. The baba ghannouj had a great smoky flavor and was perfect on the fresh pita type bread. For a main, we had the sawdat dajaj and the kafta yoghurtlieh. I was surprised how good the sawdat dajaj was. Super flavorful and great texture. The pomegranate flavor really brought out the sweetness. The kafta was even better. The grilled veggies and rice really paired well with the lamb and rich white sauce. Overall, very satisfied with the food.

Would definitely recommend coming here as this has its own unique taste compared to other Middle Eastern /...

Zero customer service. I called to place a pickup order and the person who answered the phone wasn’t attentive at all and kept talking to other people, so finally he took my order. To my surprise when I arrived there 20-25 minutes after ,the order isn’t there. When I asked the older guy who works there, he said yes you placed your order along time ago and I forgot!!!! I told him it wasn’t that long ago, then I replied ; but that is not good for business (with a big smile on my face) as when I place an order I expected to be ready, he replied it is just a small order not a whole lamb.. so I told him, I don’t need anything, you can keep it and I left. Just a very rude and unprofessional person and has zero customer service experience.. I would not recommend the...

Coming from a family of Lebanese chefs and previous Lebanese restaurant owners, I will say that it’s nearly impossible to find legit, real, amazing fresh quality Lebanese food! Many places try to go cheap and buy premade things like falafel and grape leaves - many restaurants do, you would be surprised! Beit Zaytoon is the closest you’re going to get to real Lebanese food in a restaurant! The owner is super friendly and inviting! My half bite of the falafel is for a reason and if you know falafel, you know this pictures speaks for itself, even though possibly not appetizing for those who don’t get it! It’s a great meal and you won’t be disappointed! Ps ;) ask for toum (garlic paste)

Let me start by saying it’s refreshing to finally find a proper, authentic Lebanese cuisine. I was instantly greeted by a friendly, charming and humorous fella that I believe is the owner. For years I’ve been on a mission to find a restaurant that will take me back to the Middle East with every bite and luckily this spot is right in my own backyard. Every dish I’ve tried so far (believe me I’ve tried many) gives me a sense of nostalgia and reminds me of my grandmothers cooking. I can’t recommend this place enough and so far if I had to choose one dish I would say the Sheesh Taouk but make sure you get the garlic dip on the side. Bon appétit
