I bought a sprayer with a CFX Trimble with field IQ system already installed. I really liked the system, but about 4 years in, I had some technical issues that required tech support. The closest Vantage dealer (not affiliated with Vantage NE) was no help. I repeatedly called requesting technical help, but they refused to help. I even tried to pay a tech to travel to the farm even though it was resolvable over the phone. I vowed to never buy another Trimble because there was no support for the product. This year, I decided to try and google another Trimble dealer to maybe correct the programming issues. I called Vantage NE and was offered immediate help. After discussing the issue, I decided to trade the CFX in on a new GFX display with a 500 receiver. (They did offer to resolve the problems with the display). The system was delivered next day air. When I installed the system, I needed two cables because of the current wiring. They sent them next day air and Chris guided me through the wiring. He then programmed and calibrated the system remotely over WiFi and I was spraying the same day. He was not looking up procedures in a manual. He genuinely understood the system and could tell me install details based on my prior system’s wiring. The Vantage NE team has provided customer service above and beyond my expectations. This process started on Friday afternoon and was completed Wednesday. They were available on the weekends and after hours for any questions or issues I had. Rich also setup our calls with the tech staff and set in on most all of the calls. The tech staff was very good at helping with the installation over the phone.
