TERRIBLE SERVICE- They seem professional but Barbara and her daughter are not. They put up a nice front and ripped me off. I had my moms jewelry that I came in with to make necklaces for me, my daughters and my niece, the quality was crap and the clasps were not made well, my niece lost her necklace and mine fell off and had to have another claw clasp replaced which cost me $95, another jeweler after the fact said they would of charged me $50??? In my opinion all the jewelry I gave her including a cameo- which she said wasn’t worth anything was not what I traded in for. Also I wanted my wedding rings done and she was supposed to get a setting for me that I was interested in, 2 x I HAD TO CALL THEM BACK WITH NO CALL BACK. They are not interested in what the customer wants! THEY ARE...

Had a restoration of a ring done at Harborview Jewelers. The result after spending $650? Incredibly sloppy prongs, a cockeyed center stone with a chipped girdle, and increased porosity in the gold from solder overflow. Not to mention the fact that the jeweler HEAT-SOLDERED the prongs around a rare, valuable and UNHEATED ruby, causing the calcite crystal inclusions in the stone to rupture and become more visible (this was confirmed by a GIA-graduate gemologist). Amazing service, quality, and overall experience. I originally found Harborview via google since my normal jeweler was closed for a few weeks…they will now be my main choice for any future needs. From the initial call with Barbara, to her attention and dedication in getting all the information she needed from me, the store visit and final product, I couldn’t be more happy, nor can my Fiancée!
