We had a great time, love it! We came on a Tuesday which is their discount night = $7/ person. Great deal for two movies. I put the back seats down & set up the back of my SUV with pillows and blankets, opened up the back door and relaxed. Very comfy. Trucks and SUVs park on the left, cars on the right. Most SUVs did what I did with the back open and there was no problem seeing the screen. Snack bar is cool, expensive but mainly really slow. My boyfriend went between movies when they advertise for the snack bar, he was stuck there waiting for one order of fried dough and ended up missing at least 10 minutes of the second movie. Would be okay if they had sound for the movie playing at the bar but they don't. That's the only thing I recommend they improve. However, still 5 stars... very happy......

Read moreThe Hyde Park drive- in is the oldest of two operating in the area. Like its sister theatre the "overlook drive - in " they show the latest movie releases. Both theatres have digital projection and sound. The Hyde Park drive - in is showing it's age, but its still a nice place to relax. My wife and I usually get dinner from the snack bar. My personal feeling the snack bar is better at the overlook. I want both drive - ins to stay in operation that's why I go to their snack bars. The monies made there belongs to the theatre. Which ever drive - in you choose I'm sure you'll have a good time. For bigger movie releases I strongly suggest going early so you can get your favorite parking spot....
