I’m going to update my review to 5 stars. The technician Sean, came today and apologized for the delay and it actually was miscommunication problem. Sean is very professional with his service and knowledge of what was the issue with my dryer. He was efficient and it’s working like new. He recommended a few things to improve its performance. He really does care about customer satisfaction. I would now recommend for service on your appliances. Thank you! Unfortunately I am writing this, it’s very frustrating. My washer & dryer is a little less than 5 years old. I bought it from them, Maytag. Delivery & set up was very professional. However service is another issue. I called in on 4/15/25 because my dryer was squeaky. They couldn’t get me an appointment until 4/28. That was okay, but the tech called on 4/22 and had to reschedule it for 4/25, which didnt work for me. Rescheduled for 4/30. The tech came addressed the issue, said the kit would take a couple of days. On Tuesday 5/6 I called in the morning and the man whom answered took my information and said someone would call me back. I called back later in the day and a girl said the tech would get a call out to me. On Thursday 5/8, I went in and a lady looked into what the hold up was, but wasn’t able to find out what was the delay. She was very nice and said a manager would look into it and call me back. Which someone did call and somehow, my work order was canceled. He said they could come at 2:00 unfortunately I had left town for the day. Now they can’t come until next week on Weds. the 14th. Read moreI try very hard NOT to shop here, but now and then - the other friendly hardware store does not carry an item. Every time I have been in this store, for no reason at all - the owner, and certain staff are always curt, rude, and act like customers are the burden. Far from welcoming. Today, I had a very nice staff person helping me in an isle -- but, a "manager" type pulled him away from me to ring up a different customer. Back in the day,, there was always had the same staff working; there were several of them, and they where helpful .... but, now, there is new staff all the time. Last time I tried to look at appliances ... with no one else upstairs but me, the clerk pointed to the area I needed, never looked at me, and never stopped texting. Short on GOOD staff? Pinckney's appliance repair department was supportive and knowledgable and continued to support us throughout our ordeal with the manufacturer. We had purchased a refrigerator online directly from the manufacturer and it arrived defective (it wasn't able to keep a safe temperature for our food). The manufacturer refused to refund our money for three months saying it wasn't defective. Pinckney's technician, Sean, worked with the manufacturer's technical support on more than one occasion until the refrigerator was deemed unrepairable and we were refunded our money.
We are buying our replacement refrigerator from Pinckney as we know they will support their products.
