I happened to walk in by accident on what appeared to be an “All You Can Eat Crab Legs” night — and what a pleasant surprise that was at first!
Our server was fantastic: attentive, friendly, and quick to keep the plates coming without any hesitation. The food itself was excellent — the crab legs were fresh, flavorful, and consistently served hot. Definitely two thumbs up on taste and service.
However, the experience was noticeably dampened by the behavior of a manager or team lead who seemed increasingly bothered by the number of crab leg refills we received (which, to be fair, was around eight or more plates). Throughout the meal, this individual made multiple passes by our table, giving us what felt like judgmental or disapproving looks — not exactly the welcoming atmosphere one expects during a promotion that’s advertised as all you can eat.
What really stood out was that by the time we finished our meal and were leaving, the signage promoting the crab legs special had been removed or changed, suggesting that either the offer had suddenly ended or was perhaps not intended for the level of enthusiasm we brought to the table.
In summary: stellar food, excellent service from the waitstaff, but a disappointing and awkward vibe from management that left a sour aftertaste. If you’re going to advertise “all you can eat,” guests shouldn’t be made to feel guilty for...
Read moreI don't like to leave low star reviews, but this time I have to. There was something to complain about every step of the way. We walked in and a waitress made eye contact, but walked right past us, no greeting. Waited a while to be acknowledged by anyone at all and be seated. Then it took another few mins for someone to come over, again our waitress made eye contact while we waited, but made no effort to acknowledge us. No "I'll be right with you" nothing. Finally our waitress came up to our table, and was greeted with, "you guys ready to order". No "how are you this evening", my first order was for a water, because no one brought that. The food was decent, but definitely not worth the price they charged. We spent over $60 to be served in pepsi cups. This wouldn't have been an issue if I didn't spend the same amount at another restaurant and got a nicer meal/ service/ atmosphere. Their shirts said "where everyone feels like a local", but I just felt uncomfortable and unwelcome the whole time. All in all, I would NOT recommend trying this place, I wish I had gone...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I were recommended to dine here by the hotel we were staying at. We got there around 6:30, and the place was not very busy yet we waited about 15 minutes for a server to stop at our table. We both ordered a drink and waited another 10 minutes. My strawberry daiquiri was good but my boyfriend’s Long Island ice tea was so disgusting so he sent it back and got a beer instead. We both got the fish fry and my boyfriend’s coleslaw had some bug mixed in with it. We probably should of just said forget our meals after that but we were hungry and ate the fish fry anyways. We went back to the hotel and couple hours later we both got food poisoning and were throwing up all night long. We called the restaurant first thing Sunday morning to speak to a manger and they took my information down and I never got a call back. I called again Monday night and they said someone will get back to me. I am still waiting to here back. Avoid this overpriced diner at all costs. Food is bad, prices are high, and clearly they could care less about...
