Tavern Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Milo

I have never written a review but the service I had today was ATROCIOUS. Went in and ordered food with my boyfriend while he was on his lunch break. We waited half an hour for what was supposed to be Buffalo Chicken Wing Bites and a burger but ended up having to get it to go because it took so long. When I got home I found what I expected to be Buffalo Chicken Wing Bites were actually a deep fried batter of some sort which was raw on the inside. I called and asked if I could bring it back for a refund and the woman on the phone said she had to ask the bartender she was working with if she was allowed to issue me a refund. I could hear the bartender in the background arguing about how what they gave me was in fact Buffalo Chicken Wing Bites. When I went in someone I assume was the cook started asking what exactly was wrong with it but when I told her it was raw I was cut off by the bartender who then told me to go see the woman behind the bar for my refund. My boyfriend called me shortly after to tell me that when he bit into his burger it was raw and inedible as well. When he got out of work we headed back to the restaurant to get the refund for his burger. When we arrived we were met with the owner and when I explained our experience I was told “well we can throw the burger back on the grill.” I said “no, id just like my refund as I’ve already had to have the other half of the order refunded for also being raw.” Her response? A very flippant “okay” and then she sat back down to eat and ignore us. We had really hoped to find a new date spot but unfortunately will not be returning. The lack of consideration for the health of people who eat here is deeply disappointing...

Stopped in for an early dinner after a long car ride from Maryland. Immediately upon entering, we loved the casual vibe an historic ambience. We were greeted by two, friendly bartenders who made us feel welcome - something that is not always the case for a small town pub where everyone knows everyone.

They had a nice selection of alcohol, but we we only interested in water and iced tea. The food menu was great for a tavern - all sorts of items from which to choose. We went with chicken quesadillas and the fried seafood basket. We were not disappointed! The food came out quickly and it was perfectly cooked. For the price, you get an outstanding portion!

Listen, food is good. Not great but good. Standard fare. The tavern alone is a nice place. However, the service is horrendous. Hannah is extremely rude. We are new to the area, and I called to order food for the first time, she acted like it was a problem to ask a question or two. I mean she said “ what do you want “ with a huge sigh. Customer service isn’t her cup of tea. It spoils the experience. First and last time. I think she was so focused on being rude she forgot to ring my order in correctly.
