It’s nice to see so many items up close and personal including the owners own artistic creations whether a crafty item like a wreath or the amazing art sketches that he can personally do of a pet or loved one or even yourself. The shop is a step back in time where personalization happens the minute you open the door and no pressure just browse and look around everywhere and appreciate the look and feel of someone who takes pride and love in their craft . I love Mooka Moon and the relaxed, eclectic, welcoming vibe. My favorite part is that the shop highlights local artists and craftspeople. There truly is something for everyone. While shopping for Mother's Day, my sister and I ended up buying many things for ourselves. I walked into this place and was immediately met with uncomfortable stares—no greeting, no acknowledgment, just silent judgment. It was clear I wasn’t welcome, and unfortunately, the energy felt racially charged. I shouldn't have to second-guess my presence in a public space, especially based on how I look.
