Wildfire Grill has been one of my family's favorite restaurants since it opened. It is one of the best Hudson Valley restaurants; the owners are lovely! I remember spending many special occasions at Wildfire from high school through my twenties and how it was always such a special treat to go there since the food was always exquisite! The ambiance of Wildfire Grills's rustic restaurant and friendly waitstaff is also a perk!
Upon meeting my husband five years ago, I knew I needed to eventually take him to Wildfire Grill despite now living in Maryland. I needed to get his foodie take on it, and he also fell in love with their menu, so we decided to use them as the caters for our wedding last fall.
Krista and her team were phenomenal, and you should visit them in Montgomery or hire them for your special event! We did stations, and the food was terrific, as always! Before the wedding, Krista worked with us on menu modifications based on our preferences and was an easygoing, honest, and sweet energy throughout such a stressful wedding planning process. The night of, Krista worked with the team at our venue to set up the best flow for our guests to enjoy dinner and had her staff float around the cider garden for cocktail hour. It was perfect, and she executed her team to the best of her ability in a space she had never worked in before, and it went off flawlessly!! Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious our wedding menu choices pleased us even more and about how kind and professional Krista and her staff were. The quality of the food at Wildfire Grill always makes an impression, and I am so glad we had their food on our special day!
Wildfire Grill has a unique variety of appetizers and seasonal salads. Everything they make is from scratch and made with love! Wildfire Grill offers a variety of land-based proteins, seafood main entrees, as well as plates of pasta. All of which blend different cultural flavors and are rich with flavor. The sauces and side dishes make them stand out from other restaurants by making their food have that extra pop or pizzazz of mouthwatering flavors. If you love food, you need to come here. Also, the portions are filling and just right. Lastly, the coconut carrot cake was what we had for our wedding cake. It was the most delicious cake I have ever had, and I look forward to returning it to try new menu items and for the cake more than anything! I give Wildfire Grill a 10/10 on food, attention to detail, customer service, and...
Read moreI’ve gone out to dinner here a few times and it has always been delicious, so I thought it’d be a good spot for the rehearsal dinner for me wedding, and I was RIGHT. As my family arrived, they had the whole restaurant shut down just for us. We people trickled in we were able to get a drink at the bar and mill about with each other, saying hello and catching up for about 1 hour. Just as we started talking and thinking about food, we saw the wait staff walk past with trays of appetizers. We followed them into the next room that had a long table set for about 30 people. Everyone sat down and nibbled on apps of pear, arugula, goat cheese pizza and vegetable spring rolls, and made our choice for entrees and gave them to the staff. Everything was brought out with perfect timing, tasted delicious, and left everyone happy. I would definitely recommend this location for any large party formal dinner such as a...
Read moreSo, this place probably would have been better had I not just had a couple of days of fantastic food. Unfortunately, they came after some great plates.
I ordered the short ribs, while my son ordered the burger. He rated the burger a five (on a long-standing scale from McDonald's to Becks Prime). The short ribs were tender but lacked flavor. The best thing on my plate was the green beans and carrots. They were amazing. They shouldn't outshine those short ribs though. The mashed potatoes also lack flavor. I was looking forward to them.
The service was okay. The salad plate was never removed from the table. Not even after the entree was served. I expect more. Essentially, the place was okay, lacked flavor, and is overpriced due to food and seevice. At $30/40 a plate, I want to experience food that makes me want to talk about it, not...
