I just stopped by the bakery to buy a birthday cake for a friend. I asked the person at the counter if he could tell me which of the cakes were nut-free. He told me that he had not put any of those cakes out and had nothing to do with them. He said he could not tell me whether any of them had nuts. I was a little taken aback by the attitude of this person. The store manager was slightly more helpful, and said that only the deli manager could help me and he had left for the day. Very nitty gritty marketplace but I asked to use the restroom and that led me down a set of stairs to the basement where all the real work takes place. Very old facility that led to old dirty women’s room that I was very happy to find. I don't believe they are the leader for lowest prices, but its a clean store, usually quick to get in and out, and a pleasant shopping experience.
