I’m a born and raised Westchester and I love supporting small boutiques like this one . They have a large variety of clothes and constantly bring in new stuff, I go here at least 1-2 times a month. However as a woman of color the way I am treated/ respected in an establishment is crucial.
I had one of the WORST times in the store last week. Rhoda was on cashier and the only one working there. I came in with my mom and we both had intentions of looking for new fall pieces as well as any jewelry. We saw interesting. The various other times I was there some of the younger girls have been very helpful and getting fitting room started for me, however Rhoda wasn’t attentive and told me to just get the room situated myself, which I did, and I tried on all my clothes. Once I was ready to pay, I walked up to the cashier and she didn’t look up from her phone for A WHILE. I was messing with the jewelry just staring at her trying to get some type of reaction. I don’t understand how people can have blatant disrespect towards other HUMAN BEING!! I honestly wanted to walk out of there, but my mom really wanted her things and that was the only reason why I was willing.
I took pictures (below) but the overall video was 20 seconds, please think to yourselves how long I have been standing there till I thought it was ridiculous enough and I needed to record. Will not return here sadly, great clothes, not worth the feeling of being unwelcomed. Thank you to other staff throughout the years who have and will make you feel welcomed. Rhoda, do better, be kind to ALL customers who walk through your door....

The owner and staff are all wonderful: sweet, helpful and the shop is very well maintained. They have a really great variety of clothing, bags, and accessories and ALWAYS have amazing deals and sales going on. My favorite thing about this place is the uniqueness of the pieces they offer. I always get tons of compliments when I wear something from...
