Great market organization with terrific vendors. I dinged 1 star because although most rules detailed in their email blasts were followed (everyone had masks and obeyed social distancing) there was one rule the organizers seems to be very lenient on.
Their email blast outlined in pretty lengthy detail that the current pandemic climate does not allow for "family trips" to the farmers market and that customers would be limited to 1-shopper per household - yet today there were tons of families that came and all were let in. Kids of all ages, couples, multi-generational groups (grandma plus parents plus kids), etc. were let in no problem.
I personally don't care, if people feel fine risking their children's health or grandma's health just to get some fresh food without having to get a babysitter that's their prerogative. I just don't appreciate the attempt on the organizers part at spelling out a rule that was not enforced. Plus that signals to some people that maybe they don't have to follow any of the rules and might encourage folks to try visiting without masks...
Read moreBest farmers market I've come across in all of Westchester County. Super well organized and fun for the whole family with not just veggies and fruits and flowers - but also natural ice pops and waffles and pickles on a stick and cookies, etc. Also handmade soaps and local cheeses and meats and seafood. Breads and farm fresh eggs and fresh basil pesto and wines and much, much more. Also the best falafel I've had anywhere outside of NYC at Aba's Falafel. They also have live music performances for adults and kids and a children's activity tent. The market is open every Saturday in the spring, summer and fall and then moves indoors to the Pleasantville Middle School for the winter months. ...

Spice Revolution is excellent though can be pricey, (you will never like store bought slices again) and Lindsay the owner is great. LITTLE SEED organic garden sells excellent produce and are wonderful people too.Too bad the Palestinian style falafel folks left. Excellent falafel but their restaurant is something like 90 minutes each way. If we felt better we would go. Go early because it becomes a madhouse by 10 AM. Lots of great goodies we SNAP folks can only afford here because...
