DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! I would've given them the benefit of the doubt because it is Thanksgiving but absolutely not. I am working today just like the rest if the workers there but no. I had received a pick-up order that was supposed to be one particular meal (pene vodka w/ chicken) and after I got home it was completely different (raviolis in vodka sauce) That is not what I ordered and will admit I made the mistake of leaving and driving home without checking, but I should not have to do so. I then called the establishment to let them know of the mishap and the girl (Ariana) who answers could do nothing but offer an insincere apology for giving me the wrong item and offering no help to rectify the situation. Telling me that when the order was made I asked for ravioli but was still charged for the pene vodka w/ chicken, which was a higher price. I then ask to speak to a manager who then tries to gaslight me to say the ravioli was supposed to come with chicken, WHICH IT DID NOT. They offered to make me a new dish to replace it at the end of the conversation but then just a quick thought about just tasting the ravioli and being fine with what I got; but no... IT WAS DISGUSTING. I no longer want to eat anything from this place, let alone pick up the rightful order I supposed to get.
side note - The "side salad" was basically an entire red onion hastily chopped along with a tiny pinch of other random vegetables. The chocolate cake...
Read moreI spent a late Thursday night at Pleasantville Diner with some friends and was pleasantly surprised at the offerings this diner had on the menu. When you walk in you get the hometown diner feel. You see the amazing desserts in a cool display case and if you get to try some you learn they’re delicious and some of your favorites you may have had across Westchester or in Stamford. We had a server who was super friendly and helpful. He even gave us some of the history of the diner which made it a great experience as you piece the puzzle together of the great diners you’ve already been to and learning Pleasantville Diner is apart of this family of restaurants. They even have their episode of Diners Drive-Ins & Dives running on the TV while you dine. Nonetheless, it was pretty cool. Pictures are some of the recommendations from the server which were legit all 10/10. You’ll see the French Onion soup, Shrimp Scampi, Mac & Cheese Bites, Mild Wings, Roxanne’s Grilled Cheese & Carrot Cake. The show stopper for me was that grilled cheese. It was a dinner special and after reading others, I wished I was more hungry to try another. I can’t explain it, just order this sandwich and you’ll find it’s great comfort food. After the main meal, the carrot cake was a big compliment to the end of our meal. All in all, I’m gonna go back and try more of their specials and shout out our server cause he was awesome, food was spot on and the environment was...

We stopped by here around 7 on a Wednesday night. We were the only people in there for most of the time (I've never seen a diner so empty!); a couple came in around 7:20 and a few people stopped by to pick up orders. The food was pretty standard - mashed potatoes seemed boxed and we didn't get the veggies that were supposed to come with the meal. We were both pretty full, so no biggie didn't mention the veggies, but was pretty shocked when we got the bill.
The menu said our meals were $18 each - the bill noted them both as $21. When I asked, I was told oh yes, we just raised our priced but haven't updated our menu yet. There was no note on the menu that prices would be different and nothing was said to us, meaning it's illegal to charge us a higher price.
I get it - things are getting more expensive so I didn't make a stink and paid (and tipped quite well because I felt bad that it was so empty) but regretted it when I came home and saw that the prices on their Seamless page are still lower. Guess we should have ordered and paid through Seamless to avoid paying nearly 17% more per meal. Don't think we'll be...
