I drove from the Hudson Valley area to get my hair done by Josef Mikel himself. Immediately when I came into the salon, I was greeted kindly by Kelly who did an exceptional job at helping me find the right appointment date. As I sat down for my service J was Welcomed by the ladies that were also working in the salon. Dita greeted me and asked if I would like any coffee/ tea or water. The first thought that stuck out to me was hospitality. Going to a hair salon for the first time, I felt nothing but welcomed and embraced by the owner and the staff. Throughout the duration of my hair appointment, I noticed the environment was welcoming and friendly, which I personally can believe is difficult to cultivate such an environment in the realm of the beauty industry. Josef Mikel did an amazing job on my hair, as well bring my blonde back to life. Every product used on my hair smelt like a touch of heaven. I felt confident and healthy again in my own skin. I had been to Joseph Mikel salon once before and was very very pleased. This time my hair was worse then its ever been and for the first time in my life I decided to give my hairstylist complete control telling Joe that he could do whatever he wanted for my color and my hair style and so he did along with a hair conditioning treatment badly needed all I can say is I've never been more pleased in my life and I've lived quite some time I can't tell you the compliment I have received how my sister touched my hair and could not believe it was so silky and soft I had dry dull downright ugly hair prior to going to Joseph Mikel I really don't see you you won't be disappointed he's top notch and his staff is also excellent watching their work on other customers and clients was spectacular and not to mention the atmosphere is uplifting and positive your laugh while you get your hair done and be waited on with coffee bottle of water whatever your choice they're just attentive to all your needs and most important she'll make sure that you leave happy and satisfied and that's the most important thing of all I get five stars and a high recommendation and I guarantee you won't be...

I’ve been going to Lauren at Josef mikel for a good amount of time now and have never had any bad experiences. When I came to lauren I had extreme breakage all throughout my hair and with the conditioning treatments Lauren has done on me my hair has made a total 360. This is the lightest my hair has ever been and I am extremely happy with the results. It took lauren 2 sessions to get my previously died dark brown hair to the ashy blonde it is now while trying to fix my extremely damaged hair another stylist left me with. I have never been unhappy with what Lauren has done to my hair, she truly is the only person I trust to color my hair.
