UPDATE: In response to the owner’s comment I was never informed of any policy stating that the freeze would automatically lift after two billing cycles. When I froze my membership, I spoke to a male staff member who clearly told me, “Just call us back when you’re ready to unfreeze.” Now you’re claiming I spoke to a woman and implying I’m mistaken or lying—rather than taking accountability for what sounds like miscommunication from your staff.
I’ve been a loyal member for over two years, and not once was I made aware of any changes to the freeze or cancellation policy. The way this situation was handled has been extremely unprofessional. This isn’t about the money—it’s about the lack of transparency, poor communication, and refusal to take responsibility.
Instead of addressing the issue honestly, it seems your priority is to manage appearances in public reviews. A business should be accountable, especially when its own team fails to give consistent or accurate information. Members deserve better.

Read moreWhat a mess. They had my 15 year old sign a membership contract. The kids going there stopped going because it changed so drastically. We asked them to cancel the membership and we're told it has to be paid until December. In November they double charged my kid. We called several times asking for a manager or owner but no one is ever available. So we went in person. Disaster! On the phone and in person, no one knows what the hell is going on. We left with the agreement that the account was closed and because of the double payment we would not be charged for December. THEY JUST CHARGE MY KID'S CARD AGAIN!!! Called them twice since this happened and no manager available. Someone called me back an hour later saying it was a bank mistake! Called the bank... It was not a mistake they charged us. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE CROOKS! Taking advantage of a kid who shouldn't be signing a contract to begin with. If the card is charged in Jan, there will be legal action taken.
In response to your response; if the membership was signed with the previous owners, why are we obligated to pay out the 6 months? Wouldn't the contract be null and void with the exchange of ownership? Why don't we have a copy of what was signed? Your inability to accept your part in this is unbelievable.
