This is a great place outside of the city for all of your shopping needs for botanical goods. Their prices are way better then most and they are not crooks. If you don't know what your shopping for, they will help you. They also offer readings. I've never had a reading by them so do so at your own risk. Spiritually, I've been drawn to them to get the things I need and they have everything you could want besides fresh herbs, for that I still struggle to find someone close besides Queens locations. This is a great place in Nassau to find the things you need spiritually at a reasonable price. I know the owner and this is her second shop, so she's not always there. The workers are great too, so it's not a loss to not have the owner there. A plain candle averages about $3 and speciality candles go for about $5. But they really have so much more. Statues, incense, oils, perfumes, beads, baths, dried herbs, bracelets, necklaces... You name it, they got it. I love this place. I often get readings by the owners daughter, whom has her own shop, but I won't promote that here. You can't not go wrong with visiting this place. I've searched for many, and this place is my go to for the supplies I need. You can do no wrong supporting...
ย ย ย Read moreDon't shop here if you want to feel unwelcomed. The minute you walk in,they dive into "the thief position",just waiting for you to steal, and they don't try to hide it not even conspicuously. THEY ACTUALLY glare at you as you shop. Immediately you are thrusted back in the 1960s, where you automatically feel you are really not where your suppose to be, .Not friendly. Needless to say,i walked out empty handed feeling disgusted, angry and frankly confused. Not a good feeling revisiting my honetown, of 40 years shopping and browsing a store where you expect any minute to be escorted out just for entering the store. I was visiting from virginia and grew up in Westbury, so this annoyed and frankly surprised me even more,Since I grew up here. Do yourself a favor,go some where else, or order online. It's not worth it being treated like a potential criminal or invader. I can't say it's racial(I'm African american),but it sure felt like it!! Because ironically, the owners and the employees are...
ย ย ย Read moreI have been to dozens of botanicas and have never felt so immediately unwelcome. Me and my partner were literally there for two minutes and walked out. When we came in, one woman was standing at The end of the aisle just staring and glaring at us. I tried to ignore her but when I turned to the left there was another woman just standing in silence staring at us. They were blocking off the aisles and made us feel like we were gonna steal or something. It sucked because even tho the shop is small they had lots of awesome products. Also they donโt want you touching anything in the store but then put prices at the bottom of the items. So they made it seem like we would have to go to them for any item we were interested in which felt a bit inconvenient. Disappointing to...
