This was my first time stopping by this store. I was looking for used books. At first glance I was overwhelmed by how jam packed everything was. Things were scattered. There were heavy books on top of fragile glass items, nothing was organized. I was afraid to touch anything. I’ve also heard that it’s a “you break it you buy it” type of thing, and that’s pretty convenient since you can “almost” break something while trying to look around. The person running the store wasn’t too helpful, she just replied that she didn’t own the store when she didn’t know how to answer a question. Also, she did tell me “not to make a mess” when going through a book pile because it took her “hours” to organize. At that point I chuckled and realized she’s pretty audacious. I left, and told her to have a good day. Some advice if I may, I think the store could be easier to shop if there was a system, such as organizing items that go together. Also, being a little pleasant wouldn’t couldn’t hurt either. You could probably find a gem in here, it’s just not worth feeling like there’s a hawk over your shoulder while shopping, or accidentally breaking something due to their poor upkeep. Either way, I won’t return, but I do wish...
Read moreThis is the worst second hand store we have ever been to. The things they try to sell remind me of junk left over at a yard sale people try to give you for free so they don't have to put it back into storage. There is no space whatsoever so if you're even slightly claustrophobic or have anxiety due to closed overpacked spaces you might want to rethink coming here . I went through a few clothing items but on some of them I think the moths got there before me. Not going to pay $5 for a no name top that's had visitors. I tried rummaging through books stacked on the floor but there was no space. We didn't get greeted when we came In but didn't ask any questions either so I can't say much about...
Read moreMy little sister and I went here a few months ago and the two women at the desk yelled at us for accidentally bumping into something - NOT EVEN KNOCKING IT OVER OR ANYTHING. Yelled at us that if it were to break we would pay for everything that fell off that little table. They continued to stare us down through the store and made us uncomfortable. We asked a few questions about certain items and got answers like “obviously” and “look at the price yourself”. I don’t know if they were having a bad day or what but we left as...
