Floral Terrace — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

I got married at the best venue in the entire world, Floral Terrace, on 3/29 - and it was our absolute dream wedding! My husband and I looked at about 12 venues in person first before deciding, and we chose Floral Terrace as the perfect place to have our wedding at for so many reasons! To start .. it is like a hidden gem and it is insanely gorgeous. It has four different levels and each one is so unique and elegant. The aesthetic and decor throughout is so beautiful that we didn't even need to spend any extra on flowers! Also everything is held inside so we thankfully didn't have to worry about any bad weather which was a big stress reliever for me. When you have your wedding here you are the only bride - you have the whole place to yourself and your party which was also crucial for us. It really felt like our home for the entire day and night! It has a very large bridal suite that I was able to get ready in during the morning with my bridesmaids. It has an awesome groom suite as well that was perfect for the guys to get ready and hangout in. We also took advantage of the space on the first floor that they re-did recently with white marble, we held our wedding ceremony here and it is beyond breathtaking. And the beauty of the reception room is unmatched. It has top tier party lights, there is a bar on each side, and there are huge screens that we were able to have a montage of pictures of my husband and I playing the whole night! The service at Floral Terrace is also impeccable. Igor helped us from the very beginning and he was the absolute best. The planning process went so smooth. Mike was our maitre D, who basically handled and ran our whole wedding, and he goes above and beyond. I cannot even begin to say enough outstanding things about Mike... he is THE MAN! I can't ever thank Igor and Mike enough for everything. They completely made our vision come true. Any request that we had they were able to accommodate and they exceeded my expectations from start to finish. All of the other staff were also so formal, polite, and attentive as well. I had Helen as my bridal attendant and she was beyond helpful and great! I can go on and on saying amazing things about having my wedding at Floral Terrace and I cannot imagine choosing anywhere else. The ambience of the entire venue made my husband and I look and feel like absolute royalty! Our guests have been raving about our wedding too ever since, saying how incredible it was. When they arrived they were greeted with champagne in the gorgeous lobby and they said the whole experience was like a movie! They couldn't believe the amount of food as well and we were told everything was delicious from cocktail hour to dessert. Plus we added the Venetian table that came with so much and the presentation was wonderful! The venue also handled our wedding cake .. I sent them a picture of an idea for a design I wanted for the cake and it came out even more stunning than I could have imagined! If any bride wants to be as happy as me with their wedding then go take a tour at Floral Terrace .. you will be blown away by it's looks and design, and then you will come to be amazed at all it has to offer. If I could give 10 stars, I honestly would. We had our wedding here on Saturday 11/16/2024. The entire coordination / planning process was seamless with this venue. Even down to the day-of, we had some last-minute changes and unexpected events, and Floral Terrace was cooperative, understanding, and ready to deal with any hiccups. Once we arrived at the groom suite earlier in the afternoon to prepare, the staff was beyond attentive -- making sure we had adequate eats and sips, tending to our every want/need, and keeping us informed about the goings on and how things downstairs were progressing, and always checking in to keep us informed on timings and scheduling. Each and everyone, from the doorman to the attendants helping us in the suite, was in top form. To say the staff went above and beyond is an understatement.

We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the venue, and everything was coordinated and handled wonderfully. The manager, Igor, was always available during the initial meetings to work closely with us on planning every detail, and was flexible and always willing to work with us. On the night-of, he was always available, and always ready to help with any issues. We had a slight delay in the start-time of our reception due to an unexpected circumstance, and the venue worked with us to keep things in order, and made us feel comfortable, reassured, and at-ease throughout the entire process.

Each and every item of food was excellent, as were the drinks. And the ambiance of this place is just amazing -- classic and classy, in every way. This venue has a rich history; it was once a theater that was a destination spot for Manhattanites during the 1920's. The sense of history at this venue is amazing!

Once the party ended, the staff worked diligently to get our things together, pack our food and belongings, and make our exit seamless. I can honestly say, there isn't one aspect of the overall service and experience at Floral Terrace that wasn't great; it couldn't have been better.
