When I first went here, it was great; I had one of the sisters who had very strong arms , and she did my hair in about 1 hour and 30 minutes , two strand twist and everything, it looked really nice, I left genuinely loving my hairstyle and I was really happy.

However, the next time I went I went with Keisha, big mistake. She seems like she didn’t know how to do dreadlocks or wasn’t familiar with them besides the ones her family had, (she didn’t have locs!) I told her two strand twist in pigtails, I made sure to clarify two strand twist but she acted like she didn’t hear me. Now, I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she didn’t hear me and I spoke too low. The whole time it took her 2 hours and 45 minutes ONLY to do my roots since she claims she didn’t know that I wanted the two strand twist, she kept commenting on my hair the whole time, saying it’s weird that some strands fell out, it’s really damaged and messed up (I’ve never heard this from a loctician, they always tell me how beautiful my hair is so I was stunned) she kept acting confused like “What do I do here” (If you don’t know what to do and aren’t a licensed cosmetologist… why are you doing my dreadlocks?!) the others never asked me these questions and just cornrowed the sides and kept things looking good, and kept talking with my mother the whole time about me getting some kind of $150 hair treatment because I had an afro under my dreadlocks and the hair was falling out because it was hanging on by a thread (which was true) and the worst part? When she was doing my hair the comb would fall onto the floor, and she’d put it right back in my head as if it didn’t happen. Also, she had her 1 year old son there and every second she had to make sure he was watching the right videos on his phone, so she couldn’t focus on my hair. And at the end, she has the nerve to tell me “You should’ve just said two strand twist”. Like what?? Yeah, I took it personal. Do better next time. No one else seemed to care, my mom sure didn’t, which is why I’m leaving this review. I left feeling mad and humiliated, and I know when I express that I hear “You should’ve just told me two strand twist! It’s your fault!” I should’ve...

Wanted to wait a little before i made a post (Jan 2023) I have mix feelings. The sisters that do locs here are dope and the sweetest. The spot is in a house in the basement which may throw you off but it is safe lol. My thing was I did my starter locs here did finger coils and i have alot of hair so i had about 120 locs. I was being a bit inpatient and wanted to do loc extension so waited a couple of months. I was told the size i would need so i said okay ill trust them. But when i got the extensions they were rough, they told me after a couple of washes it would soften which happened barely. Something that should of been told and wasn’t until they were installed. I was not happy with the size but with the many i had and was fully locked there was nothing i could do. I will say because online did not help they should in shop have the sizes of dreads in person so you can decide especially if your new at it. Also with the lock extensions and semi instant loc i noticed the couple months i had very thin ones and then huge ones which made the locs look alot different from eachother. Once again no one dread is the same. It was a waste of alot of money ( over 1k) i had to take them out which took me about two weeks with help and my hair is not the same (pretty damaged) once again not their fault but glad i managed because i thought i would have to...

First and foremost I want to say thank you to Nayee for her professionalism and swiftness. I needed my 7yr. Old sons hair maintained last minute and came across her business page on Instagram by searching hashtags, I reached out and she responded within a timely manner and though she normally goes by appointments she was able to squeeze him in for a same day appointment! When we got there she was very welcoming, her place of business was easy to get to, very clean & well put together. The most important part to me was her interaction with my son and his with her ! He loved her and so did I ! She took her time though it didn’t take her long at all (I was surprised with how fast she did his wash and retwist with a style!)
