I went today (Easter Sunday) and did not have a pleasant experience. There were at least about 10+ customers and all our food was delayed by over an hour. Even worse was that they could not give us an estimated wait time. There were customers waiting for up to 2 hours to get their food. When I spoke to a few customers, I learned their delivery time was 11am and they were still waiting at 1pm. Can you imagine a 2 hr wait time? There were customers that needed to cancel their orders because there families and children were waiting at home for food to arrive and it just took too long. There were customers that came back for their order and the food still was not ready at the new promised time. Most of these customers, including me, ordered at least a day or more in advance and the kitchen just was not prepared for the high takeout volume.
Our order was for a half tray biryani. Very simple order but they said because it was dum biriyani it's taking more time.
Customer service was another downfall here. There was a staff at the front that did his best. I feel for him because a lot of people took out their anger on him. He had no answers for the customers. He also had very little help at the front. Half the time he was missing and there were customers just waiting with no staff and no answers. Even if they offered a discount, tea, mango lasso or small snacks, it would have made the wait time more bearable. But we got none of the above.
I hope today is a learning experience for them and that they figure out what went wrong or even when to stop taking orders if they can't deliver. I didn't feel valued as a customer. Based on my experience today, I will not cater from them again. This restaurant has potential based on their food but they need to get better at every aspect of...
