So I ordered a camera from them through Walmart. They sent the wrong color. I contacted Walmart about this matter. They reached out to me after Walmart told them to do so. They asked for a photo and a serial number which I provided to them. They refused to take the return because the serial number didn't match. Exactly, they sent me the wrong item and expect the serial number has to match the item I ordered. If they match which means I received the correct item why on earth do I have to return it? I contact Walmart again, Walmart reached out for them. Then, I received an email from them calling me making a false claim and they will report me to the government. Walmart had to step up and issue me a refund from their own pocket because this store never stood up for their mistake but instead blame and threaten the customers. This is exactly why this store will remain a 2 stars rating store while Walmart is a multimillion dollars company. Revised: The 2 reasons it took me 5 week to return it were first of all Walmart has been back and forth about I can return the item through the store or I have to contacting the seller. Finally Walmart contacted the seller to resolve this matter. Secondly, it was because I can, the policy stated how long I can keep the item to return them so I can return it the first day or the last day within that period. You cant complain about me following Walmart's policies. I bought the camera through Walmart from them, they sent the wrong item. If I bought it from another store, Walmart would've contacted that store not them. 2 stars rating store (1 in yelp) calls every customer who spoke...
Read moreI will never purchase from this seller again. I did research on a product (Fuji camera), made a purchase on Amazon, tried it out for a day in my studio, didn't like it, returned it in perfect condition with all original packaging, and was charged over $900 for a restocking fee. That's ridiculous. Seriously? The seller was not considerate of me, the customer. They were being extremely greedy, wanting to charge a 20% restocking fee for a small scuff on the bottom of the camera that came from attaching a quick release plate and for taking a few pictures on the camera - 178 photos. They are not willing to follow industry norms of a 15% restocking fee for items that are missing original packing, instructions, or are used enough that they won't be able to resell it at normal price. This seller needs to be realistic and not try to rob customers. It would seem that this seller is trying to make even more money. They will be able to resell the returned product and make even more money off of it then if I had just kept it. This makes me upset. I kindly requested a reconsideration of a 10% restocking fee and there was nothing. No budge. They sent pictures that hardly justified the 20% fee. But my guess is that this seller will try to brush this off, not resolve my complaint, and keep the money. I'm a small business owner myself and I can say that this is a terrible way to conducted business and life. But so be it. Thanks True Modern. Attached below are the 4 images that they sent to me trying to justify their $927.01 restocking...
Read moreThese people are thieves! I wish I had read other people's feedback before ordering my camera from them through Amazon! Because the camera was not as expected, I returned it with the same condition and everything initially inside it. I was told this camera was a free return. However, there was $200 deducted from my refund with no notice at all. It was ridiculous. I reached out to the seller and hoped he could charge less of what the restock fee called for. He told me the restock fee was because I didn't return the manual and warranty card. I was shocked because the package I received never contained a manual or warranty card. When first looking at the camera, I was forced to download the manual online and register the warranty card from the website. I thought it was normal and at the time, I didn’t realize I had received a USED camera. I told him there was absolutely NO reason for me to keep the manual or warranty card since the camera was returned. But no matter what I said, this seller still used this unbelievable excuse of not getting back a nonexistent manual and warranty card to steal my money. He should be ashamed of himself! Has he ever wondered how he would feel if the same scenario happened to him? Do NOT buy anything from this company! They do not have any integrity! They will go behind your backs and steal your money. And read the other people’s...
