What a wonderful space! The design is both modern-chic- and warm , so it’s like a design unicorn. It gives off an upscale ambiance while at the same time because it’s in a village like Port Washington it has that neighborhood bakery feeling. Situated across from the Port Washington train station it’s perfect stop for morning coffee and breakfast on the go. But once those suckers leave for their jobs in the city, ah, here is where it gets good. Stroll in and choose from every coffee wish you have , stop drooling over the freshly made pastries and pick one or two and undo a button or two and enjoy. Sit in a comfy cozy chair while you do the inter web thing . Or stop by for dinner and a proper meal and play some board games or read a book from their nook. Any time of day is the right time of day for this place. Breakfast, lunch, dinner or hopefully after dinner dessert spot. You could have a different dish everyday for a whole year here. Excuse me but I must have to go to the big and tall shop after...

Asked me if I needed lemon or honey with the tea-- that impressed me. Usually you have to ask for everything. Also lovely attention to details with the choice of dishes and cutlery and variety of cups for drinks. Lots of options for pastries as well. Will go back again this weekend for...

Loved the lemon meringue tart (ate before I took a pic), chocolate thing I got (not sure the name of it) and the raspberry eclair.
The baklavas - worth a try (half a piece is plenty per person, imo) but a bit pricey and not as good as the Turkish ones! Sorry!
Chicken soup - not a fan. The chicken is hard to chew. Fruit tart - forgettable. Pineapple cookie - forgettable.
In any event - I am excited to keep trying...
