$12 per person for "free play" (unlimited play on games) for the day. I went twice. It's better if you go with someone, so you can sit at the table, called cocktail, games and play two player alternating. There's restaurants nearby if you have to take a break to eat and don't want the snack food they have there. Also now you have to pay to stay there with your friends even if you don't play. I really enjoy playing the old arcade games on real machines, like Pac-Man, Galaga, Donkey Kong, even Space Invaders. I live in a suburb and my friends took me to the arcade and even though they're in their 40s and play video games they thought $12 was too much and the arcade games were too old. Insanity, but some people you can't please. They were more interested in going to Millennium games and salivating over board games they can't afford and have no people to play with even if they bought...
Read moreI've been to Flower City Arcade several times and it never disappoints me. From the selection of 80s games to the mint condition the owner keeps them in. I've been to several arcades, most recently Fun Spot in NH and FC Amusements is just top-notch on quality. The owner is amazing at refurbishing them and often brings in new, old-school games and they're so fun to play. I really enjoy the shooting gallery type games from the 70s. He has a great selection and knows his history on these games. I gotta say I was quite impressed with his knowledge and passion for these vintage games. My 5 yr old son absolutely loves it there and I'm very grateful that we have this place in Rochester. Thank you Flower City Amusements for having such a great...
Read moreI love coming here. It's definitely an 80s flashback...decor, music, games. It changes up, and they have certainly put some energy into the building maintenance. I'm terrible at video games, but I love the idea of free play with a one-time entrance cost. One room has mostly video games, and the other has more pinball. The "garage" when open during warmer months has skeeball. The "food" is mostly cinema type concessions, which is really all they need if you are coming after dinner anyway. Bring your kid, host a work party or just come for some...
