The Pizza Shoppe — Restaurant in Town of Penfield

This is a nice little place with really nice employees. I’ll be honest I’m a thin crust pizza fan but I do enjoy a nice airy square slice when it’s done right.

You want the bottoms to be crispy and the rest to be like your biting through cotton candy.

This is a good square slice. The dough has a good flavor and the bottom is crispy. I just had a pepperoni slice but today they had a special slice that had bbq beef on it that looked great. But I always know if I try the special slice that no matter how good it is I’ll wish I got the regular slice. Especially when it’s the first time there so I didn’t succumb to my own pressure.

I’m glad I did but I almost went back for that other slice!

I’ll be returning to get a whole pizza because they have a regular menu pizza with banana peppers and pepperoni which I would enjoy.

They have pasta and chicken parm and some other things which I may try as well. I do like a good chicken parm. I will update if I return to try it.

A few months ago I tried ordering a pizza for delivery and I was politely told: "We don't deliver."

Confused I went ahead and placed and ordered two large pizzas for pick up. They politely responded with: "Our pizza only comes in one size."

Then I asked if I could pick it up at 8pm. They politely informed me: "They closed at 7pm"

So to recap: They don't deliver. They only make one size pizza and they close at 7pm

On a Saturday night????!!!

I was going to walk into the door to pick up my Pizza and try not to point and laugh at them.

But then I walked in and smelled my Pizza.. I decided to wait until I got it back home to share with my friends. None of us could believe how incredible it was. I hadn't had this quality of Pizza since Scutteris in Watkins Glen closed decades ago.

They don't deliver, make one size and close at 7pm on Saturdays because they can. Their product is so unbelievably good, that they are reaching their profit margins and don't have to offer the same stuff as 99.9% of other places.

Been to the Pizza Shoppe several times in the past month and a half. Let’s start with service. Fast, friendly and fantastic. I got my pizza nice and hot each time and my chocolate chip cookies were to die for. Seriously, maybe the best I have ever had.

I have had several different varieties of this Detroit Style Pizza and it is second to none. It is now my go to for Pizza without a doubt.

I also love the small pizza shoppe atmosphere not like one these chain pizza shops that has no personality. It was quiet and pleasant to just take a seat and enjoy my pizza. Hoping to try their chicken parmigiana in the near future.
