Outstanding! We had a College Grad Party. We had Roast Beef on Wick, Chicken K-BOBS, Asiago Mac and Cheese, Red Potato's and Strawberry Salad. Where do I begin.. I found them through Google. They are in Hamburg/Fredonia, we are in Amherst. I worried about the distance but it was not a problem. We had no references so Krista said, come down to our kitchen a few weeks early and try the food. WOW! My wife and I were sold. First of all, Krista has a great positive energy about her, and Shaun is another people person. These two are pro's. Aside from the personalities, what came through loud and clear was that they care about the quality of their product. Let's be honest, we wanted to serve roast beef on wick to Buffalonians. That is a tall order, and it had to be good. Well, it was Great! We got so many compliments with people saying, "This is the best roast beef sandwich I have had in years!". I was praying there would be leftovers so I could have another roast beef after our guests departed. Many people today go for salad as a lighter alternative. The strawberry salad was very popular and went fast. I heard two women trying to figure out what was in the strawberry dressing. Chicken K-BOBS were moist and colorful. Again something lighter as we had appetizers, and of course desserts. My favorite was the Asiago Mac & Cheese. I am not a big mac & cheese person but this stuff is delicious! Service, everything was as promised. They arrived early, and quickly got set up. Amanda was with us as our server for the party. She was fabulous at keeping on top of the food supplies, picking up after people, and generally helping out where we needed her. She's a keeper. Overall: They took over a lot of the stress of having a party, all I had to do was plant some flowers and cut the grass! I will start by saying the food was delicious and the presentation of everything was beautiful. Everything looked wonderful.

We used The Catering Company for our wedding for our dinner, dessert, and 4 hour open bar.

The staff arrived 2 hours after the time we had discussed, because Krista felt the staff would’ve been standing around with nothing to do if they had arrived that early. Although everything did in fact get set up on time, the food was only warm for our guests, not hot. And we can’t help but think of how this wouldn’t have happened if they had arrived earlier and allowed more time for the food to warm up. Also, they ran out of one of the side dishes before a couple of guests got any.

During our initial meeting, Krista did let me know of all tables/linens she would need me to rent (it was a backyard reception) for her setup in order for the day to run smoothly. We rented everything she asked, but on the day of realized she never asked us to rent an actual bar (or tables even) for our open bar! We had a couple of cheap banquet tables lying around that we had no choice but to use as our bar. As they were setting up, they realized they forgot ice. The homeowners were asked if they could go get some. So we had to go out and get some, but it wasn’t enough. Our beer and wine was warm because all the ice they had was being used in the mixed drinks. And on top of that, they ran out of liquor (vodka and whiskey) for our signature drinks, as well as Pepsi about halfway through the 4 hour Premium open bar.

I feel that if our wedding was at an actual venue, things would have obviously gone much smoother based on other reviews I’ve read. But because it was at a home, it seems there were a lot of oversights and things forgotten. I do want to reiterate how nice everything looked and how good the food was. However for us, that was not enough to overlook everything else that went wrong. We personally would not book another event with The Catering Company based on...

We had the pleasure of having Krista and Sean’s Conpany the Catering Company in Hamburg ny. Catered my daughter Courtney and Carmen ODonnells wedding reception July 21. With 240 guests in East Eden in her godmothers backyard The food was hot,and delicious as usual. And plentiful. The staff went above and beyond to make that day perfect for us. They thought of everything we missed in planning. They were all absolutely Amazing. Thank you for all u did to. Make her wedding day. The best day ever. The Asiago Mac and cheese And meat lasagna are both out of this world delicious. Krista And her staff are the only caterers I will use because I know.
