Stopping in to this little joint just to see how the food would be. Wow. They are friendly and quick to take your order. I had 2 juicy carne asada tacos. And a shrimp (civiche) cocktail. I lived in a border state before and the food at Sabor tastes true to the authentic North Mexican food style. They also have a few Tex-mex style menu items too.

This place is the best. Amazing food — reminds me of living in California. Tons of vegetarian options, and they can make vegan options too. Their avocados are always chefs kiss. Kind staff as well.

Side story: I ordered once on Grubhub and the driver didn’t want to wait so just left and canceled the order right before it was ready…and so a Sabor employee drove the order over to my house. I’ll only order from them directly from now on! Would rather give them all my $$ then a cut to...

Best restaurant in Poughkeepsie, food is delicious and high quality, and the folks who run it are super friendly and kind. Service is fast and consistent. Plenty of options but not overwhelming, and they're accommodating to us vegetarians. The flavors are great. Whenever something's got me down or there's been a period of stress in life, I always go to Sabor. Makes my day every time, perfect place to celebrate anything. Sabor...

I was so thrilled to find out that Sabor had reopened. I was heartbroken when they closed. I went the other week to get my favorite meal: Taquitos Rancheros. As always, they did NOT disappoint! I have recommended them to everyone I know. Their staff are friendly, their food is authentic and perfect and they're prices cannot be beat.
