Five Star Pools — Local services in Town of Ramapo

I hired this “company” for my family’s new pool. They charged us for opening the pool even though we had already opened it ourselves but we agreed to it because there could be other maintenance and services needed as new owners of this pool. They came twice after the initial cleaning early June and then they stopped showing up. There was ZERO communication for weeks. Our pool turned green. Getting it cleaned up and completing the repair we paid for took weeks. The pool was unusable for all of July. My family was finally fed up and looked into a second opinion and we were told that the pool was extremely poorly maintained. We were told we were lucky the pumps didn’t catch fire due to the way they were left running. I have never received worse service from a company. I don’t ever leave negative reviews. I like to help companies grow and prosper but I had to leave this review to warn others. I would hate for any one else to get taken advantage of and go through the headaches that my family and I endured in our first...

I was trying to change my liner and called several people... Few folks did not return the call, few said they will call back and never did, few said 6 months wait time for them to come... I got the flier from Five Star Pools and called them. They were so professional right from the beginning. One of their service engineer came in and took the initial measurement, in a few days gave me a quote. Once I confirmed, they came in again and took detailed quote, and installed the new liner when it was ready. Throughout the process, they kept me updated on the date/next steps. Once the liner was installed, they again followed up to make sure I was happy... I certainly recommend...

I was skeptical to call any pool company because of past experiences and the fact I like to manage my own pool, however with time constraints and work schedules I reluctantly decided to call Shia from Five Star Pools, I was Amazed at the level of knowledge, competence and professionalism provided by this company, from measuring and installing a new liner, to getting pool up and running, and the WINTERIZING !!
