Dave's an awesome person and amazing technician. I fairly recently rediscovered the warmth and color of analog listening and recording as a musician. Dave has serviced three great Marantz 70s integrated amps along with a few reel to reel decks. One that was manufactured in 1965 sat in a unheated N.Y. garage for at least two decades. All units are in prime operating condition and I really believe that if Dave can't fix it, it probably is fit for disposal. We're lucky to have such a talented and honest guy in the area.I am updating this review a few years after my first one.I recently had Dave update a 1976 Marantz integrated amp along with a 1973 Teac tape deck with new capacitors and transistors.The amp sounds amazing and the tape deck is very musical sounding.He did this very slilled work for a very reasonable price and I just ordered a upgrade kit for my 1976 Teac reel to reel tape deck and I am an audiophile and musician that insists on having serious HI FI for my listening pleasure and acoustic guitar playing and recording.I also recently learned that Dave worked for Mcintosh stereo who arguably make the best audio equipment...

I’m the type of person to buy all sorts of old audio components and I’m slightly limited in skill when it comes to fixing certain aspects of them.
