OLaLa Bakery — Local services in Town of Union

The people were very nice. Made it seem like they could follow our wishes for flavor and decor for our cake. If I could I would give less than a one star review. The cake was the wrong flavor. We asked for strawberry, which they said they could do during the consultation, only to be given an extremely dry bland vanilla cake. It was like eating sawdust. We asked for a chocolate frosting in the middle which again they said they could do. That frosting was bitter tasted nothing like chocolate. The outside frosting was over whipped and tasted like butter. So for a special 30th birthday party we had a sawdust cake with butter topping. The cake decorating was very simple and barely matched what we requested. I feel like for a bakery claiming they can create more complex cakes it shouldn’t look like a contestant from “Nailed it” made it. Very disappointing and I would suggest no one use this bakery if you want...

Ruined my sister-in-laws birthday cake. They had ordered a strawberry cake with chocolate filling. Imagine everyone’s surprise when they cut into the cake and it was vanilla. The cake was the most dry and disgusting cake I’ve ever had. Tasted like it had been sitting out for days! And the frosting was equally as horrible. It tasted like biting into a stick of butter! And for $170, you would expect this to be the best cake you ever tasted, but instead, everyone at the party could not stop talking about how horrible it was and everyone threw their slices in the trash. DISGUSTING! Would have had a much better cake from Walmart or Wegmans! Do NOT order from this “bakery”. You will regret it and waste your money! They won’t even give any refund which is RIDICULOUS! Horrible company. Avoid...

I stopped by Olala Bakery on a whim, and I’m so glad I did! The selection of pastries is impressive, and everything looked so tempting. I ended up trying their chocolate cookies and a slice of their cake—both were incredible. The cookies were soft, with just the right amount of chocolate, and the cake was moist and flavorful without being overly sweet. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making my visit even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back...
