Studio 11 Haircut & Grooming is an awesome barbershop in a nicely decorated, super modern space coupled with positive energy, great movies & music and an array of talented operators.

Many barbering locations are closed on Sunday and Monday. In short, I was desperate for a haircut because I was going on vacation the following day. Thanks to Google Maps, my wife and I worked together to locate a great service provider. We used Google Maps with the following filters to assist us in locating some great establishments i.e. 'Top Rated, Distance, and Open Now.' We narrowed our choices to three locations and then placed telephone calls to help finalize a service provider and determine who accepts 'Walk-Ins'. First on our list was located in Syracuse, NY over 60 miles from our home. Sal, the proprietor answered and he was very professional, courteous, and inviting. The next two were located across from one another in Endwell, NY which was much closer and en route to Ithaca where I had to travel afterwards. I called the next location and Rico, the proprietor answered the call. He stated that he was full for the day but that he would call his other operator and see if he was coming and then call me back- which never did. I do not tolerate incompetence and I was done... "Stick a Fork in Me!" Finally, I called Studio 11 Haircut & Grooming and Noah Ausby answered the telephone. Noah was professional, very pleasant, inviting, and happy to help! I asked him if they accepted 'Walk-Ins' and he graciously replied, "Yes." Truthfully, I got a great read from Noah and I indicated to him that I will be on-site around 02:30 PM depending on traffic and travel conditions.

When I arrived at Studio 11 Haircut & Grooming, I observed the location to be extremely clean and well maintained inside and out, including the parking lot. I was impressed already and upon my entry, I was quickly and cheerfully greeted by several operators including Noah. I indicated that I called earlier and that I was looking for Noah. Noah sprung up from his operator's chair like a 'Jack In the Box," quickly approached me, provided me with a big genuine smile and then directed me to his chair. Noah's demeanor made me feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated right from the start. After I was seated, he quickly gowned me and he was very transparent in immediately indicating to me that he was a student and that he would require much longer than 30 minutes to cut my hair. I always welcome, expect and appreciate honesty which a rarity nowadays! I thanked him again, shook his hand and informed him that I was not in a rush and to take his time!.

He asked me what I would like and I indicated, "I simply would like a high quality high and skin tight fade... Nothing fancy but rather a nice and clean haircut" and then on second thought, I indicated to him, "Do Your Thing." Fact is, I have three different types of hair: straight, curly, and wavy including two cowlicks which can be very difficult to cut. I got comfortable in his really cool barbering chair, closed my eyes, relaxed and allowed Noah to "Do His Thing! When Noah finished "Doing His Thing" I was very satisfied and I paid him the requested $20 plus a $30 gratuity. He was very grateful and he thanked me again for allowing him to cut my hair as well as the opportunity to serve me.

Overall, it was definitely worth the commute not to mention my hard earned money and I will definitely be back. After completion of my haircut, Noah wished me safe travels and a great vacation. Upon exiting, everyone said, "Good Bye" and welcomed me back. In summary, Noah is a very personable individual with the skills, passion, tenacity and knack to become an amazing master barber. Most importantly, I had a great and refreshing experience thanks to Noah and the rest of the Studio 11 Haircut & Grooming crew. I see why they have a Five Star rating with over 675 reviews. So drive there, bus there, Uber there, walk there... Whatever you do just get there and give Noah the opportunity to cut your hair- you will not be...

From the beginning I found Hailey (our new favorite hair associate) on my husbands app for studio 11. I scheduled an appointment for our 9 year old daughter, called and spoke to Hailey asking if what we wanted was possible (before showing up) and of course it was! She informed me it was newer to her but she always up for a challenge! Finally it was time for the appointment. We walked in everyone greeted us (even the pup) making it very welcoming. My daughter was slightly uncomfortable at first, I guess me telling her she was going to a barbershop didn’t help 🤣 she automatically thought it was “guys only” lol. Hailey came over introduced herself, looked at some pictures of what we wanted and began the challenge. Watching her interact with my daughter, getting her to smile and laugh talking about common interests (playing softball) was absolutely amazing! The haircut was done and my daughters face lit up with a giant smile. She shook her head left and right making it swing saying how amazing it was and how much she loved it ( she went from having hair mid back to a bob) We thanked Hailey (I told her how much I appreciated her and how great it was)got some lollipops and headed to the car. As we got to the car my daughter says to me “ mommy I want to always come back to Hailey…she gave me back my confidence! I love my new hair…this place has a viiiibe momma”. Of course after hearing that I buckled the kids up and went back in to share how excited my daughter was and the confidence boost she received. Hailey was very happy with her reaction and told me my daughter was one that will stick with her for a long time ❤️ and Hailey also told me she would be reaching out soon to check in on the new hairstyle. She absolutely did reach out, the same day. Just as we were leaving softball practice! Hailey sent my daughter an amazing heartfelt message (made her super happy and very emotional) it meant so much to her. Today went from a simple “haircut” to a day we won’t forget. We met some amazing people had great conversations and my daughter now has someone (Hailey)who made her feel so special and she can’t wait to see again(Even wishes her hair grew faster so she can go back sooner😂) now that I’ve rambled on and on I highly recommend studio 11 (even if you don’t think they do it, ask!)….. oh and Hailey if you see these ( harpers dad has an appointment in May, she’s already said she going with him...

Updated: we've been going to Studio 11 for Colin for more than 2 years. Today, I took my 14 mo old grandson for his first haircut with Noah. My grandson had a very fully head of hair and it was always in his eyes and long enough to get food in it constantly. We were nervous about how he would do with it and knew he was very young for a first cut. Noah did a fantastic job with him. He was patient and efficient. He took the time to tell our little man exactly what he was going to do and gave him such a great cut without tears or any fussing. The entire staff at Studio 11 has been wonderful and I've watched countless kids get their haircuts while waiting for my sons cuts. I highly recommend them for all ages!

Original review: We are always pleased with the cuts my 15 y.o. son gets here. They take their time and make sure everything is perfect. He has thick curly hair.
