Flowers in the arrangement that I received were beautiful. Unfortunately, that is not a factor anymore in this situation. I was very disappointed to find a broken flower, one of the main flowers when I unwrapped the arrangement. My husband surprised me the arrangement. The fact the he went out his way to pick out the flowers and wanted to make me smile after a very rough week, was more appreciated than he will ever realize. I am mentioning that fact due to what happened when I spoke with an employee(possibly owner)this morning. I left a voicemail explaining how beautiful the flowers were and that the one flower was broken...a flower that was different from the rest and would have been the main flower, to me. I did not expect the attitude and response that I received when the woman called me back this morning. She immediately mentioned that my husband must have broke the flower on his way home. I explained they were all wrapped up and secure in the passenger seat. I was not getting a response...just basically mumbling at first. She said, "I guess you can come get a replacement flower if you really want one." She also said, "She delivers the flowers and knows that they get bumped and break so that most likely happened." Again, she is clearly telling me that this is my husbands fault. I was expecting this phone call to go way different and be very simple. At the very least, friendly! I decided to tell her never mind I do not need to come replace the flower and to have a good day. I am hoping the woman realizes that customer service is always # 1. Flowers are not cheap and their is never a reason to be rude and act like the customer is pretty much bothering you. I would have been fine not being able to replace the flower and moved on, IF the woman was nice and at least pretended to act like she cared. When your in customer service you never know what the reasons behind a purchase or what your customer is going through. I understand that goes both ways. However, when your at work and being paid to be helpful and friendly, that should always happen. I hope that the next customer receives exceptional service!. Appreciate and go out of your way for...
Read moreI think the most difficult vendor to find during our wedding planning process was our florist mainly due to pricing – of course you get what you pay for and shouldn’t skimp out, but the florists I was consulting with were way out of our price range by several thousand dollars, and they also seemed reluctant to work with our budget. Gourmet Goodies actually referred us to Hopper Hill Floral & Gifts, and when we mentioned our referral, the florists took us despite having three other weddings that same weekend! When we did an initial consultation in July with Jordyn, she not only respected our budget in mind, but also knew how to make our vision come to life! After giving her our date, venue, main colors, and desire to use seasonal flowers, she seemed to magically know exactly what we wanted before we even really knew ourselves! After meeting with Jordyn and receiving a very reasonable quote, we had absolutely no doubt that Hopper Hill would do an amazing job.
After sending in our deposit, we honestly did not change anything even when they called to confirm our flower decorations before placing their orders two weeks before our wedding. It was a blessing to be able to fully trust Jordyn and Julie to bring our vision to life and not have to worry! When they delivered the bride and bridesmaids’ bouquets to the AirBnb we were getting ready at, I was blown away by how gorgeous they were! They truly blew us away with their work by not only doing everything we agreed on, but they went above and beyond with their craftsmanship – it was amazing walking down the aisle and seeing the beautiful arch pieces they made for our ceremony, followed by seeing how they put together floral decorations in the reception (e.g., centerpieces, bouquets on the bar counters and bathrooms, flowers on our wedding cake). They truly nailed the fall colors and rustic/cozy vibes we were going for at Bristol Mountain and elevated our experience! Thank you so much Jordyn and Julie for working all your magic for...
Read moreFor our wedding anniversary, my husband wanted a "secret" floral arrangement delivered to our hotel suite. Not only was the arrangement BEAUTIFUL in color and choice of flowers/greens, it was wrapped festively and securely (for travel back home) and was waiting for me when we opened our hotel suite door. The added special touch was that Hopper Hills was kind enough to charge our credit card AFTER our overnight stay, so I wouldn't see the charge show up and have the surprised ruined before.
The only disappointment was that my husband had pink roses added, and they were wilting/dying within two days. Usually roses I have received in floral arrangements have lasted longer.
I called Hopper Hills to thank them not only for arranging and delivering such a lovely arrangement, but for going the extra mile in holding off on the credit card charge so I would...
