Molly V’s Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Town of Victor

I know, I know. We locals all love Papa Jacks. And we're not wrong. But you put Perry's Ice Cream up against Molly V's Homemade ice cream and you'll notice the difference and prefer the latter.

Much to our delight, they offer many flavors of homemade ice cream. We're not talking 7 or 8 flavors. We're talking dozens. Did I mention it was homemade? And you see a flavor like "Carrot Cake" and you may wonder, how could they possibly preserve the creamy goodness of carrot cake inside a frozen dairy treat? Well, I don't know how, but they did it. And each scoop seemed like it was a 50/50 blend of cake and ice cream. They aren't pussyfooting around. The cake tastes cake. The lemon cookie taste like lemon cookies. The snozzberries taste like snozzberries. And the S'more flavor has loads of graham crackers, if you're into that kind of thing. Annnnnnd to top it all off (see what I did there), it's downright reasonably priced for homemade ice cream. Most of these small batch creameries are charging double the price .

We took our great grandson out for ice cream and the place we usually go to in Victor NY was closed for the winter. Not wanting to let him down we did a quick google search and Molly V's was shown. We were not aware of Molly V's but it was just a short distance from where we were in downtown Victor so we tried it out. The shop was small, but the service was great, and the Ice cream was unbelievably good. The ice cream is actually homemade, not purchased elsewhere. We had the chocolate peanut butter and it was fantastic. We even came back to purchase a couple of pints for a birthday party. The cost was about the same as you would pay in any ice cream shop and we felt a fair price for the quality of the product we received. They are open in Winter and we will...

They came to an event at our school about a month ago, and I was worried my daughter wouldn’t be able to enjoy any ice cream, as most places have cross contamination. I explained my daughter has Celiac Disease and they were absolutely amazing about it! They are so great with even just allergies (a teacher has an allergy and treated her the same!) I am so incredibly thankful for them making sure she got to enjoy ice cream with her class. I will 100% be visiting when we are in the area, and may even make special trips just to have safe ice cream!
