I was so excited to finally try this cafe. Iâve been driving by it for months in my way to work. The atmosphere is so charming and clean. The waitstaff seemed a little timid but sweet and once I explained that I had never been there before she helped me order the most delicious food. I was having a wonderful time until this woman came out of the back and started socializing with this group of elderly folks. I couldnât help but over hear her BRAG ABOUT HOW SHE BERATED HER EMPLOYEE EARLIER THAT MORNING. I was livid. I knew exactly which employee had been verbally abused instead of coached ( Every third word out of her mouth was âIâm sorryâ and she was cowering like a wounded puppy. ) I stared daggers at the bragging woman and she knew I was overhearing her unprofessional and rude conversation, so she lowered her voice and continued. A GOOD manager would coach the employees and set them up for success, not verbally beat them. Iâm appalled. As much as I loved so much about the establishment, I will not return unless itâs under...

For the Cadbury latte, they were out of toasted marshmallow syrup so we decided to substitute with shortbread syrup (which was still very good). I enjoyed this latte a lot but less than the crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e latte which was SO good. The crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e latte has toasted sugar in it which gives it almost a little bit of a smoky caramelized flavor. It was amazing and definitely worth trying both seasonal flavors. They also had a selection of packaged gluten free snacks so I picked up a rice krispy treat. I didnât order any food but I did overhear one of the baristas on the phone listing off all the gluten free options they have (and let me tell you, that gf English muffin breakfast sandwich sounded so good). Itâs always a pleasure stopping by the coffee shops in Rochester (who knew there were so many) and busy bean ranks...
